The cashier was so accommodating and really took the time to give us (9 people) a run down of the flavors and the attention to our tastes. The shaved ice was so flavorful, not too sweet (perfect for asian palettes) and didn't melt right away. Definitely recommend the mango passion fruit and the chocolate! The seasonal we tried was marzipan and it was wonderful 💕 it's a small cafe, but I love the intimate setting as a little hole in the wall. Will absolutely come back for their next seasonal! (Also got the tea and it was a refreshing light pair to the intensity of the flavors)

I tried their shaved ice and blockshake, and everything was so delicious!!!! I had the Kiwi Banana Shaved Ice and the Cashew Coconut flavor. Since it’s coconut-based, the natural nuttiness comes through beautifully, giving it a rich, refined flavor. It’s a taste I haven’t experienced anywhere else. The cream is also wonderfully rich without being heavy, so the whole dessert feels wholesome and full in flavor. For the Blockshake, I tried the Mango Pineapple, which is made from an ice block that includes avocado and coconut. Because of that, it has a dense, luxurious texture, very different from the typical smoothies I’ve had. It tastes elevated, almost like a new category of dessert. The interior of the cafe, with its warm wood design, is stylish and modern. It’s perfect for a date spot for younger people, but I also think it would appeal to older guests who prefer desserts that aren’t overly sweet. You can really taste the quality of the clean, carefully selected ingredients, which brings out a premium flavor. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the price range of $8.50–9 feels very reasonable. It’s a fresh, modern, and sophisticated dessert experience that pairs beautifully with the chic atmosphere of the cafe. I highly recommend it!

i love the concept and uniqueness! personally felt the texture was a little tooo soft, as i normally enjoy kakigori more fluffy and icey. persimmon flavour was quite good but too sweet. hojicha chocolate smoothie was delicious!

This shop is lovely! Stopped in for a quick treat while waiting around LA and we were pleasantly surprised! The shaved ice itself was excellent and the menu was very carefully curated. I thought it was a bit on the pricey side but it is a fun treat so we didn’t mind too much. We got the matcha oat milk flavor and the strawberry coconut flavor and both were great but I enjoyed the matcha one a bit more! We had a couple allergies in our group and they were very informative about ingredients which makes sense since the shop is vegan and dairy/gluten free. Loved this place as it had such a cute and clean vibe and the desserts were tasty and refreshing!

Mewame offers a Korean-style bingsoo. I had no idea what that was. It’s a fresh, light, shaved ice delight! My first impression was that someone brought frozen treats from Korea to West Hollywood. I’m not vegan, gluten free or on a diet. If I’d been told before trying the Korean-style bingsoo that it was all the above I’d have been skeptical. The place was decorated like a zen retreat with wood, brick and a helpful staff to guide the ordering. They have drinks and shaved ice. I ordered the mango passion fruit shaved ice and sat back to wait for its arrival. I had a front row seat to the making of my treat. It arrived in about 10 minutes and I have to say it was amazing. So sweet and tangy I have never had a dessert that was so good and didn’t leave me feeling heavy in the least bit after. The best bite is the last bite so save your wafer till the last bite and it’s your reward! The price was right at less than $10. I am excited to go back. I saw the chocolate and I can’t wait to try it.

I finally got to try Mewame’s shaved ice cream and I’m so glad I did! The texture was incredibly light and creamy at the same time, and it looked just as pretty as it tasted. I love that they don’t use any artificial flavors or colors—everything is plant-based, yet still so rich and flavorful. It was sooo good! Definitely worth the wait and a new favorite treat.

Such a cute, welcoming spot for shaved ice 🍧 As another reviewer mentioned, the space feels almost zen - and beautifully designed down to the small details (the drip catcher!). We tried the cashew coconut flavor, subtle but deeply satisfying. Can’t wait to come back and explore more flavors!
