SUPERB. The owner here is a Kuai native with a story for every dish. Excellent presentation, and the food was immaculate. I had the teriyaki pork, Hawaiian Mac, and Jasmine rice and everything was off the charts delicious. So happy we stopped by. Mahalo!
Found this spot on Google because well how often do you see Hawaiian food? Super-glad we popped in! The Saimin Soup (unique to Hawaii) and Teriyaki Pork were sooo good. Side note: The Krate "food court" venue has a lot of eclectic food options.
Excellent Hawaiian food. I had the soup and shared it with my 5 year old daughter. She said "really good food". So it's got her approval as well. The soup was fresh and went well with the Soy sauce. The staff were really friendly and there is disabled parking right outside. Great atmosphere.
Excellent Hawaiian food. I tried the teriyaki beef plate with a side of short ribs all of which was excellent. The ramen is so tasty too. Great for rainy days. 😊 I especially love the shave ice! 🍧 Not too sweet, so you can really enjoy the flavors - the lychee and guava, omg. 🤤 Love the local vibes, the owner, Palani, plays the ukulele sometimes and they always have Hawaiian music playing. A real gem of a store. I drove in from Tampa and it was worth the drive. Definitely ono local food. Oh, and I took 2 musubi’s to-go and smashed on them on my drive back. lol very good. 😊
Palani's treated us to an amazing lunch date! Palani the owner, shared a bit of his story and the history of his recipes. All I can say is, Try It! You won't be disappointed!
Stopped by here on the way home and got the teriyaki pork meal. I ate it about an hour later at home and it was fantastic and very tender. I can only imagine how good it would have been if I ate it fresh at the restaurant!
Nothing better than soup made fresh, made to order with fresh ingredients. Super tasty, authentic with an amazing taste.
