Spirit Cafe

Hands down my FAVE place for chocolate croissants! The ladies that work there are so friendly. Very welcoming. I’m in a wheelchair and they always make sure to bring my order as courtesy to my table! It’s nice that as a young adult myself I can go there an just relax, read, and eat a warm snack. 10/10!

Make sure you come here with plenty of time ! They take their sweet time making your coffee and food orders. You won’t get fast service , but it’s well worth the wait for both. The food is packed & flavorful, & the quality of the coffee is good as well. Lots of spacious indoor seating available with power plug cords in the middle of the tables to charge up your devices. Try one of their specialty drinks they have a great variety to choose from.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, and it just so happened to also be Harry Potter Day in Waterbury! Spirit Cafe decorated nicely for the event and even had special drinks, so we couldn’t resist the butterbeer iced latte. Love that they serve breakfast all day, and the menu has a great variety to choose from. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, with the empanadas definitely being a standout as some of the best I’ve had in a while. It was a chill vibe and everyone was so nice! Can’t believe I hadn’t been here sooner, and truly the definition of a hidden gem!

The Penile was good! The avocado was fresh. Shredded and Full pieces of the penile. I had got a lemonade very good. Their plantain was a-little dry I recommend the chipotle sauce. I do recommend this place if you are looking for Spanish food to eat. Each plate was $10. The two dishes we did get, were very different sizes one was way smaller than the other. When I walked in they said they were open but once we got our plates they said to please leave they are closing. My first time here I was not aware of their hours of operations. It is posted on the door outside.

I explicitly asked for extra crispy empanadas and they delivered. 100% delicious. Also, Spirit is a large cafe where you can get some studying done. Highly recommend.

I wish I knew about Spirit Cafe sooner. The coffee and food are delicious. Customer service is professional as well. The environment is spacious and perfect for studying alone or with a group of friends. I definitely see myself visiting again. I had the pleasure of speaking with a staff member and was asked, "What could we do to attract more people?" and my response was simple, "Add more photos of the food on the menu. I shouldn't have to ask about sandwich size or food portion size. The image should be accurate and available for view." Let's keep it 💯 a bunch of ingredients on a board has little to no impact, but a picture can say 1000 words. Check it out, enjoy, and stay blessed.

This place is awesome! Went here with a group of friends this past Sunday. It was our first time and everyone loved it. I'm not a coffee drinker, but the Spirit Spice Latte was on point. I got the French toast with strawberries and whipped cream on the side. It was really good and the whipped cream is nice and thick. Friends had the Omelet, Trifecta sandwich and BLT sandwich. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I'm so excited to find this place because the food is good and very affordable! It'll be my new go-to-spot! UPDATE as of 06/01/2023: This place is da bomb! Look how big the Greek salad is with chicken and the beef Empanadas!!! Everything tasted so good. Empanadas were perfectly cooked and flavorful and huge. Everything tasted so fresh even with a delivery. You definitely get your money's worth here. Going to start eating here more often. The people who cook here believe in flavor.
