moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Venice)

FYI Moonbowls is located inside the Colony community eatery which is convenient for takeout or quite chill to dine in for a quick meal. The kiosk ordering is nice to explore all the options. The photos don't do the dishes justice because the sides look more like garnishes, but portions are large. For that reason I wish the sauce containers were larger to cover the entire bowl/plate/salad of food (but you can always pay for extra sauce.) 🍚Impossible bowl (vegan beef) is so tasty mixed with sweet potatoes and cabbage slaw with any sauce 🥗Cauliflower (fried) on salad with corn and ranch sauce (also vegan) 🍛Tofu rice plate with sesame sauce, mushrooms and cucumber salad

Awesome spot for quick, healthy Korean takeout! Lots of options for meat eaters and vegans and so many ways to make it your own! Moonbowls is a great go to for quick lunch or dinner with options for everyone. Love this place!

I recently ordered the avocado bulgogi and WOWZA was it good. Let me just say I thought maybe just maybe I'd miss the meat. I didn't. The impossible meat was doin' the impossible- makin' my tastebuds do a lil happy dance. It was balanced. Flavorful. A lil spicy. A lil sweet. And a whole lotta yum. Plus the sweet potato noodles wove through all the delicious textures for the most flavorful, mouthwatering bites I've had in a hot minute. AND as an added bonus this bowl lasted me two meals, not one! So excited to find this gem of a spot on the West Side to help combat any Korean cravings (but like, also healthy?!). Do yourself a favor and get you some!
