Great experience! Food was superb, the waiter was awesome. We recently went to Italy and Forte is the most authentic Italian food in Tuscaloosa, really no question. Highly recommend the burrata and the creamy mushroom pasta! I’m big eater who rarely doesn’t finish mine and fiancées food, but we took home most of our dishes so large pasta portions. Salads looked awesome and substantial as well, especially the ceaser but only saw from afar. We also got the fries and they were really good with a hint of rosemary. Cocktails were on point. And the price was reasonable, a good deal for the quality and portion sizes. Our new favorite spot in Tuscaloosa!

We just tried Forte for the first time last night and it was excellent. I was surprised to see its rating and we decided (for science) we needed to see for ourselves first hand. I am happy to report that the experience was great! I had the bolognese and my wife had the steak frites, both dishes were delicious. Bolognese is a great dish to test a kitchen’s competency with and it did not disappoint. We also had the focaccia and marinated olive appetizers and they were great. My only nitpick was over my old fashion, which was a little lifeless. We finished the night with Sticky Toffee Pudding which again was delicious. We will be back!

Food was ok but took a long time to get there. Then the pasta was swimming. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but if I am staying in hotel then I’ll come again.

Sophia was an absolute rockstar! Fantastic service and fantastic food. Best service I have received in my life. Staff was incredibly personable and attentive! I order the steak frites, the steak was a perfectly cooked medium rare. If you are in Tuscaloosa, look no further than Forte! I cannot wait to come back here.

The restaurant was nice and cute but we couldn’t hear our conversations over the loud band and we sat right in front of the patio door which was freezing every time someone would open and close the door. Our drinks took 30 min to get and our food took over an hour to get. The steak frites was chared and black and some of the pasta dishes were over cooked. I don’t know if I would go again and I saw the reviews were low so I should have known what to expect:(

Decided to try something different. Tried the onion soup and some fries for appetizers. The entree was the duck and the lobster tail over rice. The duck was just ok and the potato cake was pretty much the same. The lobster was cooked just right but the bed of rice it was on was very undercooked. Top that with 2 adult drinks and a slice of cheese cake. I was out of about $160 gave the waiter $40 and we left and went to directly to Wendy's

In town Saturday for the football game and came in late. Wasn't sure we'd get our party of four in but it was great. Was seated outside and everything from the atmosphere, food and service was awesome! Special thanks to the hostess who got us seated! Will be back next time.
