Avenue Pub - Downtown Tuscaloosa

Really enjoyed the food freshness and portions. (Would have definitely taken a better picture of the fries but they were so good that we couldn't stop to take the picture because we were too busy eating them.) Great stop along the strip and we'll definitely be back again!

Fantastic food and staff with such a cool building! Super fast service while still getting quality food. I will definitely be returning soon. I got the pepper jelly chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese. So flavorful and delicious!

Starting with the good…. Atmosphere is great with a beautiful old building. Food was very good. Came here for the grit cake at 5 pm on Saturday but they were out. Server needs more training. Salad came out with the meal instead of before and there was no dressing but couldn’t find server. Drinks stayed empty. When a glass of tea finally came after we asked for it there was no ice and had to ask for ice She disappeared…. Like for a long time. Came back in with a brown bag of boiled peanuts and she and two other servers stood at end of bar and ate boiled peanuts… would literally suck the peanuts off the hull, set the hull down and go pick up plates of food and deliver to tables, picked up napkins, folded them and then took to tables… all while eating boiled peanuts. We finished and waited for check as we watched them eat the boiled peanuts. Bartender finally brought check. Sad because food was great. Hats off to the chef!

The food at Avenue Pub never disappoints, offering many unique sandwich options like Pimento BLT and Chicken Pepperjelly sandwiches. Their selection of craft beers is great too, with options from Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and around the state.

Had a nice dinner. Table was wobbly but our server addressed the problem quickly. Sydney was our server and did a great job. She provided honest feedback when we asked about menu items and recommendations.

Perfect atmosphere and amazing service. We went around lunch time and was a slight wait but we sat at the bar no wait. Kendra was the bartender and she was amazing and very friendly. I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries and their burgers are always so amazing. Wife had the Fried Green Tomatoes BLT and she was so happy and excited about it. She had the Blackberry Smash drink and it was so good. Overall great experience.

Nice atmosphere, not too crowded. Large portions! 3 of us shared the Thai nachos. They were great!! I ordered fish and chips, my husband had the bacon burger, and my daughter had the salmon. They were all delicious!
