Din Tai Fung 鼎泰豐

What a place. Love of Dim Sum is our thing and we traveled to Hong Kong 6 times because of the Dim Sum ! And Cantonese food. Din Tai Fung is from Taiwan and we still love them ! Been coming here since they open back in 2016. There were some up and downs but they kept good quality of food and service. They have a full bar and variety of drink options as well. For 2, we recommend 1 noodle for each, 1 side of vegetables, 1 dimsum platter and 1 meat plate. If you want two different dim sum plates, get 1 noodle plate. Size varies but food gets little haavy if you order too much. Our plan to goto Taiwan is delayed til next year but keep you update on the original Din Tai Fung in Taipei, Taiwan.

Great place to eat! The food came out quickly and the price was surprisingly good for the amount and quality. It’s a good splurge to have! Biggest complaint is the walk in line is the same as the reservation line. So, if the line is long and you are running late, have someone stand in line and have someone go to the front to show them your reservations. They should split the line since they make you wait by the dumpling window if you have reservations anyways. I’ll update my review when they fix this issue. People that make reservations shouldn’t have to stress about being in a long line since they took the time to plan for their time and their company. Good thing we arrived 30 minutes early because the walk-in line that they put us in was long at first. So, we took a lap around the mall and came back 15 minutes before our reservation. Thank goodness, they seated people already in the line was gone.

What a fun place to eat! I’m a vegetarian and was worried I wouldn’t find much on the menu that I could eat. I was wrong. The cucumber salad, vegetarian dumplings and fried rice were fabulous. We decided to try the chocolate dumplings which didn’t sound very appetizing but boy oh boy! They were amazingly tasty! In a single bite you have a hot chocolate lava flow in your mouth! Yum! Reservations recommended.

I had a excellent lunch here on a Sunday morning. I have been to several locations in several countries. This is up there with the best of them. I had pork soup dumplings, pork buns, red bean paste buns and honey milk tea.

I went to Din Tai Fung at the Del Amo Fashion Center—and it was as good as always! I stuck with my go-to, the Chicken Fried Noodles, which were absolutely delicious, and I also had the Chicken Dumplings—amazing as always. For the first time that day, I tried the Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin, and wow—it was incredible. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. I do wish there had been a little side of rice with it—it would have been the perfect match. Definitely a 10/10, and I think I’m officially addicted! The location was very busy. Table seating was estimated at 45 minutes to an hour, so we opted for the bar, which still took about 25 minutes. The bar and restaurant were bustling, and the service was okay considering how packed it was—totally understandable with so many people dining. Overall, it was another great experience at Din Tai Fung. My only wish is that there was a faster way to get a seat, but even with the wait, it’s totally worth it.

Chocolate Buns , must for chocolate lovers Better have online reservation if guests are 6 or less.

Our server was amazing! He gave us awesome recommendations and was attentive. It was easy to make a reservation however, it was a bit confusing because I checked in but didnt. Almost lost our reservation, thankfully I asked. Other than that, great spot! After got a bit of shopping done. Will definitely be back!
