AMC CLASSIC Terre Haute 12

This theater is extremely dirty and not well cared for. In the bathroom stalls I have noticed the stall walls, doors, toilets everything is coated in urine and feces almost always, be it right after they open, mid-day, or at night. The seats in the theaters are stained black from dirt and grime or some liquid. The theater floors are very dirty and it seems never mopped properly. On more than one occasion I have smelled urine in the actual theater itself, meaning more than one person elected to just urinate on the floor rather than get up and go to the restroom. Hygiene overall in this theater is extremely gross all the way around. The price of candy is approximately double compared to buying it yourself elsewhere. And on top of all of this, much of the service staff (not all) are very rude, most especially one employee A**** (named after a harry potter character somehow) who always gives me dirty looks, constantly raises his voice to me and takes a rude tone with me nearly every time. I ended up cancelling my AMC A-list stubs subscription over the terrible conditions and poor service of this theater and have now stopped going all-together. This theater is in desperate need of a total remodel, new employees and management, so basically everything.

Best theater in the area. Still just that old theater setup. Why can there not be any innovation in the theater world? I'm sure that Hollywood would be onboard, for the most part. I know of places that serve food & drink, places that have couches and chairs only. Add some locally inspired snacks to the menu. Or, alternatively, add some stuff from local chain restaurants - sure they're all chains, but local people work them, and in most cases, own some of, if not all of them. Obviously you are also a big theater company, where I'm sure that consistency across the board is likely required. But who knows, maybe you attack it from the top down, try to persuade a c-level exec, or from the bottom up by trying to persuade a local theater to save one theater room to test out some ideas. Just a thought.

Worst theatre I have ever been to… I turn 18 in less than a month I had just gotten off work and was wanting to go Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 (Pg-13 movie I had gone to see a rated R film less than two months prior). They made me show my ID and would not let me in since it was past 7 pm. Would not tell my worst enemy to go to this movie theater the prices are outrageous as well.

The theater was difficult to find and the team members working seemed preoccupied and non-engaging. The parking lot did not have adequate lighting. However, the seating area was nice and comfortable.

The theater is always really clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. I got the Bavarian Legend which is delicious, but I think it's meant to be split between two people. It's almost the size of a newborn...speaking of which, I had my infant son in a stroller, I took my hands off the stroller for 5 seconds to pay for the Bavarian Legend and large diet Coke and when I went to grab the stroller again, I saw an AMC associate with pitch black eyes and my child's limp leg sticking out of his mouth, we shared a glance for seconds that seemed an eternity before he ran away on all fours...very distressing, but the seats in the theater were very comfortable, and I really enjoyed Fantastic Four and I can't stress enough how amazing the staff is except for the whole eating my infant child part. But I can still recognize and respect hard work when I see it so that's why I'm leaving 5 stars.

Went to watch Black Phone 2 (I was disappointed) Tried to purchase tickets and add military discount at the kiosk, was a complete fail. Had to purchase tickets at the concession area. No employee at the front near any kiosk - which wouldve been helpful. Employee at concession stated Rated R movies will not show up on screen for purchase. Should be noted somewhere so customers aren't wasting their time. Drink machine = disarray Condiment/butter area = disarray Theater was clean thankfully! Gave 5 🌟 because God don't like ugly

There was a foul odor in the air. The service staff were not personable. Way overpriced on ALL food or drink items!! The movie played flawlessly however.
