Ironically, the plan was to go to Texas Roadhouse, but when we arrived, the wait was 50min, so we decided to look for a BETTER option. When we saw this restaurant so highly rated on Google, we said, "Let's give it a try." The truth is, it was our first time in Saint Joseph, and we were with my in-laws who live here, so we went to eat there, and it was spectacular. A pleasant, family atmosphere, delicious food, spectacular service, everything was excellent. Thank you very much! We had one of the most satisfying dinners of this trip!

Spinach salad used to be phenomenal with sprouts, real bacon, and a sweet dressing. Now it has bacon bits, no sprouts and a barely palatable dressing. Why change a good thing, will not be returning.

Came here to eat on Halloween night with my boyfriend, which was our first time here. The wait staff and host were dressed up as a crazy cat lady and her cats, which was very cute. My partner and I ordered a steak and coconut shrimp with soup/salad bar. The food was excellent and our waitress was very accommodating. The salad bar was really good as well. We were surprised to see it only cost $45 for the two of us. Considering we each got an entree, soup, salad, a side, rolls, and cinnamon rolls, it was a great price! $20 a piece for a quality meal that left us happy and full. We will be returning! Thanks for the great service and great food! ❤️

The food was delicious!! My steak was cooked to perfection!! We had a party of 17 and the food all Came out at the same time and there was not one complaint. The salad bar was good. But those cinnamon rolls were amazing and came with the meal!!! 10/10. 100% will be back!!

This is the first poor rating I have ever given to a restaurant. We ordered the 16 oz prime rib and the 6 oz filet mignon (medium). The filet arrived only cooked to rare; with a very raw center. The prime rib was served on the bone with an above normal amount of fat. In my 35 years of fine dining, I have never seen prime rib served on the bone. I ate half of the total weight. When we sent the filet back to cook longer, it then became dry. The saving moment of the evening was their soup n salad bar. The potato soup was very good. We read an article that recommended this establishment, so we drove 90 miles (one-way) to visit them. Very disappointed. Maybe they will get better; but I will not recommend them nor will I return.

Prime rib was perfect and "divine." The Kansas City strip was the "the best steak I’ve had in a long time" per my dining partner. Twice baked potato was just okay. Spinach salad was good (except fake bacon bits). But tasty and fresh. All in all, the meat was so wonderful that it is 5-star for me, based on that. I would love to come back…

Stopped in for lunch; very good food (but no cinnamon rolls served as advertised and the gravy was instant) but the service was a huge disappointment in terms of attentiveness and promptness. We were there at 12:30 pm. There were four other tables besides ours and it took an hour and a half to get served. No offer to refill our glasses until we were ready for the check. No return to the table to check on how the steak was cooked! The restaurant was clean. Not recommended for lunch.
