Came here for the first time to try it. We ordered the vegetable pancake, Bulgogi bowl, bibimbap bowl meal. They were so good. And the Citron tea (Iced) is my first time trying it, its very refeshing and I love it. Its a little small inside but not bad. The food was flavorful and service was fast. Also friendly staff! Will come back again to try their other menu. 😊
Was pleasantly surprised. We are in the area from San Antonio. If I'm ever back in the area, would come again. My husband is half Korean and he approved. We had Kimchi Fried Rice, the Bulgogi Kimbap, Spicy Squid Kimbap, the Vegetable Pancake and Tteokbokki. The Tteokbokki was our least favorite. Had a unique taste that was odd to us. The vegetable pancake was good, wish it came with the soy sauce mixture for dipping that Im accustomed to. But it was still good My husband had the Kimchi fried rice with egg and he said it was really good, it has a kick. The bulgogi kimbap was pretty good too. I asked for it without the lettuce. My daughter had the spicy squid Kimbap, she really liked it. My Husband said the squid was pretty good and he hasn't had something like it since the 80's🤣 The side dishes, kimchi and spicy cucumber was good. My husband said the kimchi was fresh and a good flavor. The young man taking our order was very friendly and helpful!
I ordered bibimbap (rice bowl with vegetables and meat), tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), and a side of kimchi from here off a food delivery service and it was just ok. The bibimbap was the best thing I got from here with plenty of vegetables, a decent amount of beef, and they even included gochujang (spicy pepper paste) although it would’ve been nice if they included sesame oil. The tteokbokki and side of kimchi was extremely salty, enough so that I didn’t even finish either of them and the portions were small too. On that note, for the price I paid, I expected a healthier portion of tteokbokki even though I didn’t finish it. Overall, the food was ok; good enough for me to eat most of but probably would not go back considering there are other options.
Pros: delicious food, everything is well cooked, great service, clean restroom, to-go ordering, kiosk ordering Cons: small menu, not much seating Even though it's a small menu, everything is cooked perfectly and tastes delicious. My personal favorite is the spicy pork belly, though everything tastes good. Even their cute little dessert fish pastry (taiyaki) are tasty. They also have small containers of kimchi and beansprouts you can purchase to take home, as well as a bunch of different packaged snacks/desserts such as chocoshrooms. If you don't feel like getting your food to-go, they do have a couple of tables and some counter seating, and I've never seen them so busy that a spot wasn't available.
Second time coming here and ordering the pork belly bowl. First time I called it in and my bowl was fresh, full of veggies to meat ratio. Today I did a walk-in and ordered the same thing, inquired about extra meat the lady says yes and with Extra Meat it would also come with Extra Rice ,No charge. Great, I'll take it! Charged me an Extra $7-$8 somewhere in there, that's fine. Got my food Fresh and Hot once again so I was Phat and took it to my car to be Phat ! Lol So I sample around it a lil and dip&taste some. I never mixed it , my OCD won't let me lol But I noticed there was barely Enough Sauce. So I go back in for Extra sauce to Match my Extra Meat And Extra Rice and a bottle water. Why did they Charge me for extra sauce when I already spent $22 for my bowl? When I asked how/why because I would think that it Would Make Since for the Sauce to Match the Extra Meat&Rice???? The lady's response was oh, yeah I'm sorry but did you still Need the Sauce???? Howwww!!!! You guy's Won't See Another Dollar of Mine. From something so Simple that could have been Handled Differently 🤷🏾♀️ I Paid it but Their Loss
I had been waiting to try this place for a while. I am so mad....at myself. It was delicious. Why did I wait so long? We got the pork belly dupbap, spicy cucumber salad, kimchi, the pork, spicy fish kimbap, pork and chicken dumplings. Everything was so fresh and delicious. The portions of the dupbap are great for sharing. The red bean waffles shaped like a fish were so good as well. Definitely will come back to try other dishes. Love supporting local businesses. Glad to have this in the neighborhood.
This food was soooo good! I love Korean food and it reminded me of good home cooking. My husband picked up food to bring home and between the kimchi, pork belly and side of gyoza(which I believe is hand-made, tasted very good) I am full and happy! Definitely coming here in person next time and highly recommend!
