Kowloon Restaurant

First visit for me!! My husband has been before!! I will say that this was the best meal!!! Great atmosphere!!!! The food was amazing!! We had the Chicken Chow Mein, Beef Satay with Peanut Sauce, Pad Thai with Shrimp and Tofu, the Kowloon Adventure with Beef Teriyaki. Such amazing food!!! Decorated for Christmas and everyone was having a great time!!! Our server Jin J was Great!! He made sure we were taken care of!!!!

This place is awesome!! Been around since 1950! The Wong family still keeps up this restaurant with pride! My mom has been coming here since the 1970s. I been coming here every year when I’m in the Saugus MA area. My first time here was the early 1990s. I’m reviewing this right now sitting on the plane heading to Boston! We will be there soon!! My mom and I come every October as our first stop before heading up to Ogunquit Maine for our vacation. We love sitting by the water fountain. But when we also like sitting at the bar with our Mai tais and food as well. First thing we order is Mai tais!! So tasty! I get the roast pork wonton soup, and my go to dish, shrimp & lobster sauce, dark style! My mom loves the roast pork strips, chicken fingers and the roast pork fried rice! If you have not ever tried this place you should!!

Growing up this was the place! Iconic old school chinese...So sad they're goung to be closing and a craving for some takeout this was the obvious answer.....I don't know ow what happened to the place I loved so much but this wasn't it. The rice was just unflavored mush!!! The chicken fingers were these small chunks crammed in the container so they all morphed into 1 giant finger! The ckn wings were strange and fatty. My husband did say his dumplings were good. Overall for 100 bucks was totally not worth it. I always see negative reviews on social media but I didn't realize it had gone that far downhill... I'm totally bummed. There is no where to get that old school chinese food from anymore. Matters well live in Florida 😭

We had a great time at Kowloon. The Saugus Wings were so good. The batter on the chicken fingers was light and crispy while the chicken was juicy. We had 3 different dishes of beef and chicken and shrimp all were to die for.

Kowloon in Saugus, MA is always a fantastic experience. The bartenders are very good—friendly, attentive, and they make great drinks. The atmosphere is cool, with a unique vibe you don’t find anywhere else, and the outside entertainment is awesome, especially on warm nights. Every visit for us always starts with the Pu Pu platter, and it never disappoints. Great food, great service, and a great time every time we go. Highly recommend!

Decided to go here for dinner on a Thursday night and heard some rumors of it going downhill and not as good as it was. Who ever has been downplaying Kowloon is just lying. Food was HOT and FRESH. Atmosphere was just as I remember from years ago. Service was quick and fantastic. All of the above. If you hadn’t been back in a while it’s still the MECCA of Chinese restaurants.

First time at Kowloon! Always heard so much about it. Went with cousins and we got lots of shareables. The food was great. The drinks were amazing. And the atmosphere awesome! Will definitely go back!
