Sulbing

Came here on a weekend with friends and really enjoyed it. Sulbing does authentic Korean snow ice with super fine, milky ice that melts in your mouth—sweet but not heavy. Works great as dessert any time of year. Green Tea Chocolate Sulbing was a highlight. The matcha is more bitter and fragrant (not overly sweet), paired with chocolate cake and milk ice—very balanced and easy to keep eating. Strawberry Yogurt Chocoballs Sulbing was refreshing, with a nice sweet-tart yogurt flavor and crunchy chocolate balls for texture. Dubai Nougat Crunch Ball was a fun surprise—crispy chocolate shell with pistachio cream and crunchy bits inside. Sweetness was well balanced with the snow ice. We also tried some toasts. Mozzarella Injeolmi Toast is a must when hot—nutty soybean powder, chewy mochi inside, and stretchy mozzarella. Sweet and savory combo works really well. Honey Butter Bread was simple but comforting, best eaten warm. Overall, great place to share a few shaved ice and toasts with friends. If you like light, fluffy snow ice, Sulbing is a solid choice.

I recently tried three standout Sulbing treats, and they’re all so worth it. Tiramisu Sulbing: Smooth, creamy, with just the right hint of coffee. Light, not cloying, perfect for a sweet pick-me-up. Strawberry Tree Sulbing: Fresh, juicy strawberries paired with a fluffy, airy base. Bright, refreshing, totally hits the spot. Strawberry Choco-Cake Sulbing: Crunchy chocolate cake bits, sweet berry notes, balanced richness. Indulgent but never heavy. All three are 10/10 will definitely be back for more.

I’ve been a long-time fan of Sulbing, but their new Strawberry Choco-Cake Sulbing is on a whole different level. If you’re looking for the ultimate winter dessert, this is it! The Taste Experience: This isn't just your average shaved ice; it’s basically a premium dessert tower. It features a rich Chocolate Cake Sheet layered with their signature fluffy Shaved Ice. The top is generously loaded with Fresh Strawberries that are actually sweet and juicy, not those sour ones you often get elsewhere. To top it off, there’s a massive scoop of Haagen-Dazs Strawberry Ice Cream, which adds a creamy, high-end finish. My favorite part was the Chocolate Hard Shell—it adds a satisfying crunch that contrasts beautifully with the soft snow ice. It’s "Berry Much" delicious!

This super famous Korean bingsu brand totally lives up to the hype! The shaved ice is insanely fine—literally like snowflakes. So soft, so fluffy, it just melts in your mouth. The best part? Amazing value for money. One bingsu is more than enough for 2 adults + 1 kid, no joke. Perfect for sharing. Also have to shout out their toast series—SO good. Crispy, rich, and super satisfying. The portions are huge though lol. One toast is enough to keep you full for the entire afternoon lol. Definitely a must-try if you love Korean desserts. Highly recommend!

Sulbing is one of my favorite dessert spots in the Bay Area—the bingsu is super authentic and incredibly light and silky. Besides bingsu, their toast and creme brulee are also really good. I recently tried the Dubai-style soft cookie and was pleasantly surprised that it’s not overly sweet; the pistachio/strawberry fillings are so satisfying. Highly recommend!

Date: Aug 30, 2025 at 515pm. See pic. >95% of what we ordered (Chocolate Pistachio Sulbing) is shaved ice for $23 per single order. There is a thin layer of topping and the flavor is ok (4/5). No air conditioning. Temp inside was 80F. Backdoor was left open. Tables were dirty (see pics). Someone did come by to clean them but we needed to ask the person to look after the table. Other tables were left uncleaned. Would never come back here…

I tried Biscuit Sulbing. Sulbing Cafe is a must-try! Their shaved ice is incredibly flavorful and refreshing. It is on the pricier side, but the taste and quality make it worth it. Even after finishing a full bowl, it feels light and not heavy at all.
