I love Korean BBQ but would not call it "health food," and neither would my continuous glucose monitor. I'm also not sure what the difference between bbq lover and Sunny's To Go is. They both have signs up outside and in the window. The menu screens are all out of date and I could not order anything on it, including souffle pancake and omelette. You can still order omelette rice according to the ordering app, so I don't get why they can't make the omelette that's on the board. (I also don't know why they keep the menu screens on if they're not serving anything on it. Just shut them off and save the money on electricity.) There are fridges with ban chan and other food in them. They will heat them up for you or you can take it to go cold and heat it up yourself at home. The overwhelming stench when I opened my food was, like another person mentioned, stinky. And not fishy, like I would expect, but something I can't put my finger on... Everything is to-go. There are chairs at a dirty table (with straight up shredded carrot and drops of oil on it) and a bar by the window, but there's kimbap and food containers on them, so I'm not sure if they expect you to eat there, but I didn't feel comfortable doing so. There's a very loud fan or generator, so that plus the language barrier made communication difficult.

Tried this place for the first time as I love BBQs. Ordered Egg Mari Fried Rice 🍚 🍳 for takeout and it was really good. Would love to explore other options next time. The restaurant is relatively a small place with few tables, so not ideal for group hangouts.

Nice conveniently sized lunchboxes to go. Food needs to be heated up. I wouldn't eat cold short ribs. Not sure what a previous review meant by it was stinky..cold food can throw you off.

Not friendly and meat tastes like pre-cooked and placed in refrigerator overnight. microwaved and served. Very hard to bite and smell stinky

My go to spot for ordering Korean food for my lunch.

Fair price, friendly and tasty
