Nori Nori was absolutely amazing. I’m so grateful I decided to come for lunch today. The all-you-can-eat buffet is a 10 out of 10—every single bite was delicious. I loved being able to try different foods and sushi options, and everything was fresh and flavorful. I truly enjoyed every last bite. The customer service was just as great as the food. My server was wonderful, attentive, and made the experience even better. The atmosphere, the people, the food—everything came together perfectly. I took plenty of pictures of what I ate because it was that good, and I’ll definitely be sharing them. Oh my God—amazing. I will absolutely be back.
Nori Nori is a hidden gem in Sandy Springs! The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, from the sushi rolls to the traditional Japanese dishes. The presentation is beautiful, and you can tell the chefs take pride in their work. The staff is attentive and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The ambiance is cozy and perfect for both casual meals and special occasions. Highly recommend trying their specialty rolls and ramen—absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back.
Nori Nori offers a great variety of food, and I used to really love this place, but my recent experience was disappointing. The biggest issue is that they don't refill the food quickly enough, which creates a frustrating pause during the meal while waiting for items to reappear. While the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice, there are many other sushi buffets in town. To stay competitive, they really need to do a better job of keeping the buffet lines full.
A few years ago when I visited Atlanta, I had dinner at this restaurant’s buffet and really enjoyed it😋 I kept thinking about it even after all this time. So I finally came back, this time for Saturday lunch😁 Honestly, I think the dinner buffet had more variety and felt a bit better overall, but the lunch menu has its own charm too. Both were satisfying in different ways, and I left feeling happy with the experience. It’s a place I’d definitely return to again🔥
Had a wonderful Japanese lunch buffet experience at Nori Nori. The buffet was beautifully arranged with just the right amount of food, and dishes were replenished as needed. The spread offered a wide variety, with thoughtfully prepared vegetarian, seafood, and meat options. What stood out were the finely cut vegetables, like eggplant, which added extra care and presentation to the dishes. The dessert selection was equally thoughtful, with small portions that were perfect for sampling. Highlights included green tea ice cream, tiramisu, flavored yogurt, and coconut crackers — all delicious. Overall, a well-curated buffet with attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
This was our first time eating at Nori Nori, and my husband loved it! We’re actually from the Chattanooga area and drove down just to try this place. He said he would give them six stars; it was so good. He also said he would make the drive again; it was worth it. I don’t actually eat seafood, so I would say 3 stars from me, but I don’t think that’s fair to mark them down for that. Probably about 80% of their buffet is seafood. For non-seafood eaters, they have some chicken, steak, rice, noodles, egg rolls, Caesar salad, etc. They also have a hibachi where you can order a protein (chicken, steak, or shrimp) and vegetables (onions, mushrooms, and zucchini). That’s what I ate. The non-seafood items were decent, but I think those who will really appreciate this place are those who love seafood: sushi, sashimi, crab legs (dinner only), etc. For dessert they have little cups of tiramisu (my favorite!), yogurt (blueberry and strawberry), ice cream (green tea and vanilla), cookies, and little bites of cake (red velvet, green tea, cheesecake). They also have a crepe station, which was nice for something different (banana, strawberry, blueberry, peach, pineapple, chocolate, and whipped cream). I probably wouldn’t go back if it was just for me since there was a lot of seafood. The other foods were okay, but not great. There was also a fishy/seafood smell when we first walked in. My husband, who loves seafood, would definitely go back.
I’ve dined at Nori Nori several times and have always enjoyed the food, so this review is disappointing to write — but my most recent experience ended poorly due to a billing issue that was handled extremely poorly. We came in with my family right at opening and were one of the first tables seated. Food was great as usual, and service was decent throughout the meal. The problem came at the end when I asked for the check. My total was $117.65. I handed my card to the server, and she came back saying there was still a remaining balance of $32.68. That immediately raised a red flag, because I knew the card had more than enough funds. I pulled up my bank statement in front of her and showed that I had already been charged the full $117.65. It was clear on my statement. Despite this, I was told no money had been taken except the $32.68, which directly contradicted what my bank was showing. When I questioned this and asked for clarification, the server became defensive, so I asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager made the situation worse. There was no apology and no attempt to acknowledge what I was showing them. I was repeatedly told I was not charged the $117.65 even though it was clearly posted in my account. I explained that I was not willing to pay again unless I could see a voided receipt or get a clear explanation of what happened with the first charge. After several minutes of unnecessary back-and-forth, another staff member suggested writing me a note stating I would be reimbursed if the original charge posted. Only then did the manager agree and wrote a handwritten note saying I would be refunded $117.65 if the charge went through. At that point, I paid the remaining balance — meaning I was charged twice — just to end the situation. What should have been a simple resolution turned into an uncomfortable and frustrating experience that took far too long. I come here often, and this was extremely disappointing. Mistakes happen — but how they’re handled matters. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and dismissive attitude from management are the reason I don’t see myself returning.
