A great Korean family owned restaurant. If you are craving for Korean food... this is the place. Make your own bowl, Chipotle style .. and they also offer family style which serves 2-3 per order. Their banchan (side dish) are all home made .. even their teriyaki sauce. I was born and raised in Korea so I have a high bar when it comes to korean food.. but this place is the place where I can get home-made, comfort food craving fixed in SF.

Incredible flavor and fresh ingredients, love Mario’s food, always hold the highest standards. Service is above and beyond, will keep coming back.

Matko has 2 other locations. The tofu soup was delicious, I paid for the extra rice. The service was super nice and caring people con: the name is hard for me to remember

Each bowl at Matko is flavorful and has a good serving of meat that suits the $16 price tag. Unfortunately, the add-ons feel like I'm getting nickled and dimed. $1 for sauce? $1.50 for two sets of utensils with two napkins? $0.50 for a bag? It makes every order an exercise in frugality.

One of my favorite go-to places for work lunch. Food is authentic, with wide range of simple but healthy and tasty choices. Quick and friendly service, too.

Ordered spicy pork belly, it is just pork, not pork belly as it has no fat and it’s just average for me. They use takeout containers only which is really bad for the environment. I won’t be back.
