Definition of a neighborhood hidden gem. The portions are great, it's fully authentic, and the owners are always there. Tiny little spot, maybe seating for 12 total. Go for one of the combos!
We really enjoyed our meal and overall service. The owner was so sweet and the chefs in the back were slicing and dicing like crazy. Food was delicious! So thankful we found them on Google as a top restaurant to visit. It was walking distance from whare we were staying. The restaurant itself is nice and small, very clean and bathroom clean. Thanks again!
I originally planned to go to another Korean restaurant nearby but it was too popular so I gave up on the long wait list and decided to come here. Definitely no regret at all! The decoration is not as fancy but the food is quite authentic and delicious! The service was also great (the owner gave us separate small bowls and plates so we could share). We loved the sizzling bibimbap and tofu soup, spicy bbq pork is not spicy for us but we still enjoyed it, beef udon is also quite tasty!
This was my third time going there. I went back because the barbecue chicken is off the hook. My second time, I tried a combination plate, so I can try the barbecue chicken again, of course... 😋 and I tried the barbecue beef, (the beef wasn't a good as the chicken) and I had pot stickers, shrimp Tempura and a salad, which was really good also BTW. It's a small place over on Irving street. Parking is hard because you gotta find parking on the street.
Super sweet local place with phenomenal prices and pretty good food. I ordered the rib combo and the beef spare rib was my favorites, but short rib and pork ribs weren’t bad. The ribs all come marinated in a thick sweet sauce that is really sticky but I overall liked it. Bean sprouts were marinated a little on the stronger side, but fresh and tasted good. Not my absolute favorite kbbq place, but it’s really up there.
TLDR: nice grill flavor on the meat, sauce is a little lacking. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion sizes for the price and the nice grill marks on the meat. The beef rib was tasty and cooked well though the sauce is a little just sugary but not much else. I liked most of the items on the plate and I haven’t had this place in my long time of living in SF but I’m glad I finally tried!
Sticky tables, bit old and drab interior, staff is really nice and attentive. Food was really too salty and sweet for us. Had the beef ribs, short rib and pork rib combo.
