Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

This place is peak fast food for the Rock Hill area. Everyone who works here genuinely seem happy. It makes me feel good to know the food I get to enjoy, is prepared by people who are pleased to be there. I normally don't leave food reviews, but I've been through here so many times now, I felt compelled to. Tonight specifically, Jamie was a class act. @storemanager @staff: Thanks for staying consistent and for all the hard work at my favorite fast food grub place. TL;DR Good Food. Trust.

Love Freddy's! Some of the best burgers and custard around. Definitely competes well with places like five guys, Culver's, shake shack, and steak and shake. This is one of the best burger places out there and I wish there were more of them. Stumbled upon it traveling through South Carolina and was really happy we found one. Plus the custard is really good in A step above a lot of soft serve. They have an extremely thin shoe string fries that were cooked perfectly. A wonderful experience. We also like the decor.

Freddie's food and custard sundaes are delicious. Always a happy staff there to take an order you will love. This place is a major step above the usual fast food burger joint.

This is going to be a biased opinion because my wife and I are not fans of the "Smash Burger" type fast food venues. Decent burger but too greasy and messy. But that's what some people gravitate to. The other "turn-off" was their fries or maybe I should say Micro-Fries, they're so tiny!!! A french fry should not fit through a standard soda straw. In my opinion they over cook way easier when they're that small. On the pros column I would have to say that their Custard and Frosty shakes were great and super thick!!! Aside from that the staff was professional, pleasant and polite. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere hence the 4 star rating.

Service here? Awesome! Seriously, they even asked if I wanted sauce, which is a nice touch. Now, about that Double Signature Cheeseburger... it was supposed to be a double, right? I thought that meant two burger patties, but nope, just one big one. And it was on a tiny bun, so everything just fell apart. Trying to eat that in the car was a mess! So, good service, but the "double" burger was a bit confusing and hard to handle.

This used to be a great place to get a burger, but lately it’s been disappointing. The buns are mush-soft almost every time, like they’ve been steamed to death in the bag or smashed down. Nobody wants a mushy flat bun on a burger. Every now and then I’ll get a good one. Also, fries are not that special. They’re so tiny you cant taste them. I know they cant change that, but figured I’d add that in with my review too:)

Trey was such a pleasure to interact with. He was so helpful with my order and he is such a breath of fresh air! The food was delicious! I got the veggie burger with fries and a root beer float. 10/10 and with the great service, that just put the cherry on top! Thank you so much for being awesome Trey!
