LUMI Dessert Cafe

Love the Berrylicious Binsu! Parking will be difficult so try parking across or get there before peak hours. Would definitely come back again just for the amount of strawberry they stuffed inside the binsu. We didn’t pour the condensed milk syrup because it was sweet enough. Don’t let us down in the future!

I visited Lumi Dessert Cafe in the evening and found it to be a delightful experience. The cafe was not crowded when I arrived, but it started to fill up around 10 pm, yet there was ample seating available. I tried the mango cheesecake and Oreo cookies, both of which were fantastic with generous portions. The service was excellent, adding to the overall positive experience. However, a couple of points to note are the lack of decaf coffee options and the fact that all drinks contain sugar. Despite these minor misses, Lumi Dessert Cafe is a random find that is definitely worth every penny.

The shaved ice was pretty average, not worth making a special trip for. The flavor was okay but didn’t stand out, and it looked quite different from the photos. The shop is very small and parking is inconvenient.

Wonderful spot for dessert! Lumi has been my go-to dessert spot lately. Totally obsessed with their bingsu and golden toast. So far, my faves are the mango cheesecake bingsu and caramel apple pie golden toast. They have big servings and beautiful presentation of each dessert. Totally instagrammable! Besides from desserts, they also serve different drink options, such milk teas and lattes. Plenty of tables and seating for groups or dates and they have seating spots inside and outside the cafe. Parking is available inside the garage or across the street.

We were looking for a new dessert place and came across this place on Instagram, so we decided to check it out. It was really good. We ordered the apple pie golden toast, creamy taro bingsu, and the choco brownie bingsu. The golden toast was buttery which paired wonderfully with the sweetness of the caramel and apples making it delicious. I could eat this every morning for breakfast. The brownies on the bingsu were soft, not hard like some places. I just wish the taro flavor on the taro bingsu was a little more front and center, though it was still good. For an Asian inspired place I was expecting the desserts to be under sugared, but the sugar level was nice. Almost a bit too sweet by the time we'd finished, although we did try 3 different desserts. What I didn't like is that the parking is hard to find. We did eventually end up in the parking garage, which was free, so it worked out. Also, when you check out there's the typical screen for tip, but I'm not sure what they're doing to earn a tip. You have to pick up your own food and bus your own table. I know tip is optional, however most people leave a tip when the screen asks for it. If you're going to ask for tips, then there needs to be offered additional service. There's none. Seating is limited, fortunately we didn't go at a busy time or I can imagine it would be hard to find a place to sit and eat. We were there at 4:00 on a Saturday. Lastly, it's really expensive. For 3 desserts with a tip we spent about $50. I think if I go back I will go for breakfast and skip the bingsu.

Only the reviews brought me here...bingsu is not for me but they have interesting flavors. Golden toast is super good. I took the mango and berry flavor but most of it is thick slice of milk bread. Portion size is biiiigggg. Worth trying once!

This place is very nice and clean. We got the strawberry cheesecake after dinner for the three of us and it was a great size. I loved their yuzu sparking drink as well.
