Boba Tea & Coffee Cafe

So I confess- I’ve been a regular here. On a good day they are a 3 star venue… mostly I visit due to the convenient location. And my child is obsessed with boba. The teas are not hand brewed or anything fancy… just mixed powders of several different flavors. Pretty sweet. Most of them taste good in an artificial way. Sad that the review I’m finally leaving is a 2 star rating. I find the business unprofessional- and it’s been several times now that I’ve experienced the same experience as today. The name of the place is BOBA teas and coffees. I have showed up on multiple occurrences and they have no BOBA! So today I waited 15 minutes in the drive through only to have the employee giggle while she told me they were out of boba for at least a half hour. Ok. So why don’t you offer a free substitute like jelly or poppers? Or put some extra stamps on a stamp card and apologize? Maybe even comp a drink? Since you are a BOBA store with no prepared boba! But to know that someone just waited 15 minutes for something you don’t have and just laugh about it? I don’t think I can be a regular anymore.

Aw man! So disappointed. I do like the drinks. Sometimes the drink itself feels warm until the ice cools it though, which makes the boba all soft feeling. But whatever, I can get over that and just wait a few minutes for it to cool. What I’m disappointed about is the Dubai drink. I love all of the different Dubai style treats I’ve had. This one though is on the very bottom of my list. The pistachio flavor is there at first but then it’s quickly taken over by the strong flavor of chocolate syrup. To me, it tastes like a grassy-strawberry-nature chocolate milk😂. Definitely not what I was going for, especially not for the price. So overall it’s not a BAD drink at all!! but it does not give the Dubai flavor I was hoping for. Maybe if I got it again I’d request very very light chocolate syrup.

I called this place to see what drinks they had and then I asked them if they had a specific drink (drink + size) then they told me a price GREAT! I was on my way and I was exited, unfortunately my all time go to boba place is no longer in Redding 🙄 and I have never tried this place. When I got there and ordered my drinks I noticed the price was 3x more than what they told me when I called. Before I paid I told them the price they told me on the phone and they said they charge by the scoop and the cup. I asked why they didn’t mention that over the phone but she had no answer and continued to tell me my price. After I paid and sat down to wait for my drinks I could hear her and another employee talking about us. And then when we walked out they loudly laughed. I think the way they handled this situation was very unprofessional and childish. If you tell someone something is one price it should stay that price, it is unfair that I came prepared to pay for what they said and then it was more. I will not be coming back.

Wow Outstanding best Bahn Mi i have ever had make sure you add the jalapeños and the Srhacha relish. The flavors and textures rocked my world.

Payed in store with cashapp for me and my brother at 2:30. It was slow, no one was in the drive through or inside. The two baristas didn’t care to give me my receipt. The total was $11.74 and then at 9:00, 6 HOURS difference. I get a notification saying the payment updated from $11.74 to $14.09. And I don’t even have my receipt. If it took that long to process a tip, they should have told me, but they didn’t even watch me pay. Been here a couple times in the past and service was always kinda crappy so I probably won’t go here again.

We visited twice here during our stay in Redding. Great place to get your Boba teas! We had a large order and the staff was very patient until we figured our order out. Definitely recommend!!
