MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub

This is a great restaurant—very clean and welcoming for families. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and made sure the kids were comfortable. The food was delicious. Compared to places in the busier tourist spots like Hill City and Custer, you can tell this place truly values its customers.

Our waitress was Calla. Hopefully I spelled it correctly. She was Very Attentive. Service and Food were both Great. Very Delicious Baked Ziti. My Sister had the Cajun Chicken Pasta.

I was looking forward to dine again in a MacKenzie, and I wasn’t disappointed. Great tasting food, friendly service, perfect.

The food was absolutely amazing. The server was as good as they come, very friendly and helpful!!! This will be where I stop the next time I am out this way!!!

We ate here recently, our server was Sean and he was amazing. He got our small child some fresh fruit and cut it up very small for her. He was quick with refills, very kind and funny. Best service we've had at any restaurant in a long time!

This location is well managed. Nice service and they are not skimpy with the pizza toppings.

Update: I have eaten here many times now and am usually satisfied. Sadly, the management has changed recently and it seems some other things as well. While the staff was still top notch the amount & quality of food might be dropping. I recently ordered a "large" Caesar salad and it was something you would get as a side salad most places and not something that costs almost $20. I was very disappointed and really shook whether I would came back again. Hopefully they are better next time if I do decide to come back. First time here and it was a fantastic experience. We were immediately seated, the staff was very nice, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back here when in town. And you have to try the flavored teas. The peach and huckleberry ones are fantastic.
