Cool spot for ramen and dessert. You can choose your ramen and add toppings to it. We came for dessert this time. We got the Oreo croffle, Oreo bingsoo and mango bingsoo. The bingsoo’s are huge!! Enough for 2-3 people to share. The croffle was yummy. The croffle was perfectly made. The whipped cream with the Oreos was a perfect pair. The bingsoo’s ice was so soft and tasty. Lots of parking outside. Seating and tables outside too.

Edited: The fish waffle ice cream is GONE and no longer part of the menu. Unfortunate to be honest. I love coming out here frequently and eat some overpriced bag of instant ramen just to get a kick out of it. Definitely a fun and addicting experience to try and repeat. To be fair, their on menu items are good and i keep returning for more ramen and ice cream, so that should say something. There is also an ingredients bar you can use to enhance the ramen.

The only instant ramen and dessert bar in the far East Bay as far as I know 🙂 Offers taiyaki, croffles, and Korean bingsoo, which is frozen milk with toppings. This is a New location, clean, bright, with just 10 seats. Best for solo or takeout. I visited during a holiday afternoon, there was a minimal crowd, but likely to get busier as more people find out. The Staff were in back but came out quickly. They bring the bingsoo to table when dining in. Mango bingsoo had solid portions with balanced sweetness (not too sweet haha) and plenty of mango chunks. This was enough for me to share with 2 other people for dessert and be completely satisfied. For instant ramen and bingo, definitely give this place a try!

ALSO! the workers were very transparent and told us when certain items didn't look fresh enough and they offered us a refund or to swap our choice for a better one and packaged our to go binsoo in an ice pack!!! for UNER 8 DOLLARS 🥹🥰 thank you so much dal dal!

Daldal in Concord has a really fun and thoughtful concept. It immediately reminded me of the ramen spots you see in Japan and Seoul, which I loved. That said, I do wish the space were bigger and more inviting. The whole point of places like this is to eat the ramen there, but I noticed a lot of people just buying their ramen and leaving. That kind of defeats the experience. I also hope they expand their ramen selection. It would be great to see more condiment and topping options so you can customize your bowl a bit more. One highlight for me was the equipment they use to boil the food. It was my first time seeing something like that in person, and it was pretty cool to watch. Overall, it’s a solid concept with a lot of potential, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

2** First time trying bingsu here — got the original with red beans and condensed milk. Super cold and tasted like yogurt. The place is clean and has fun extras like instant ramen, drink cups with ice, shrimp chips and even little Spam packs for the ramen. I do wish they had a second person working, just so someone’s always at the front. A safety feature too since they’re open late. Also, more plastic utensils would be helpful. And a clear plastic barrier in front of the toppings would make things cleaner, more sanitary especially with people walking by near the toppings. Moderate first experience overall, just a few things to improve.

Honestly, the 3 star rating is due to the bingsoo, which is the saving grace for this place. If it wasn’t for the bingsoo, this place would deserve just a single star. Upon entering the establishment, it was underwhelming and I feel like this place was definitely hyped up for no reason. Customer service was lacking, they were hiding out in the back the entire time and it was a bit confusing on how to start the process of ordering. Apparently you just grab a tray first and then your choice of ramen and toppings and then pay at the register prior to making the ramen. Thankfully I’m pretty familiar with the drinks in the pouches, but for those who are new to the experience, it was a bit confusing that the cups of ice in the freezer wete for the pouched drinks. There was also no pricing on their frozen items and I ended up paying over $20 for one pack of 3 bimbap, the same goes for the drinks and snacks. They also don’t give you receipts either which was annoying. If I return, it’ll be just for the bingsoo, which is the only thing worth paying for. There’s also no plates or utensil for the microwaveable foods. I had to eat my overpriced bimbap on a piece of napkin.
