Itaewon Bar and Food

The young gentleman was very nice, informative and hospitable. Very respectful, approachable and professional. He let us sample the Korean sake type liquor before I purchased a bottle. Helped me decide which one to get. The option he game me was ver enjoyable.

Came into Alley 51 to grab a quick bite and a crisp beer. You can’t go wrong with the K Chicken. Great texture and has a slight spice kick. If you’re a big fan of Asahi or any kind of light crisp Japanese beer I would highly recommend the Taiwan Classic beer if you’re looking to try something new. The bartender is really helpful when it comes to recommendations. Will be coming back again!

The Korean popcorn chicken certainly wasn’t fried or even breaded as advertised, and it was $15? Pretty sure this is all frozen food reheated, at the very least this is a 0/10 for effort. I’ve attached photos of what they advertised vs. what we received. I can make fried chicken better at home by a mile (see photos). It’s really not that hard.

Diabolical, I got the chicken combo and it came with pickle which is already a green flag. It was amazing. Pickle… best pickle I’ve had. I don’t see many people ordering from here which needs to change.

I been once wouldn’t try it a 2nd time. I ordered the bulgogi burger b/c it was recommend on the menu as well as in the google reviews. I don’t think it had any bulgogi sauce on it. The fries were cold, even though I was the only one ordering from there. I figured I’ll give it a try since I ate at almost all the other restaurants at alley 51. I FAFO why it’s never anyone ordering from there.

A wonderful break from the norm! I came here after ordering food from another spot, so I could have a cocktail with dinner. The espresso martini is one of the best I’ve had (and I’ve had a few 😉) Ashlyn was amazing! Very warm and knowledgeable! I’ll definitely be back! 10/10 experience 🙌

Fun food court in Sourh Charlotte. Spacious and lots of variety. We tried different places inside and our favorites were Itaewon Bar & Food and HoneyCow. Highly recommend! Alley 51 in Pineville will definitely be a food stop when we are up here from Atlanta.
