I personally really liked this place. I'm not sure why the bed reviews. I had the nami deluxe and it's huuuuge, delicious, and excellent in price. my mother had the salmon and shrimp which was also quite good. the food needs a little more salt for me but that's an easy fix and personal preference. mother on the hand thought it was perfect. do yourself a favor and get the cheesecake tempura. All in all, Id put it right on par with Saitos and Benihana except better pricing.

First time at Nami Japanese Restaurant, and honestly, I was impressed. Came in expecting a decent teppanyaki meal, walked out very happy. Let’s start with the teppanyaki. The chef clearly knows what he’s doing — good timing, no rushing, no overcooking. Steak was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful. Chicken was tender, not dry at all. Seafood was super fresh, especially the shrimp and scallops — zero fishy taste. The fried rice was on point too, flavorful without being greasy. Now the sushi — better than I expected. Fish was cut nice and thick, not paper-thin like some places. Salmon and tuna tasted fresh and clean. Rice texture and seasoning were just right, which tells me they actually care about quality here. Service was solid. Staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. Water refills, clearing plates, checking in at the right times — all smooth and professional. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable. The teppanyaki area has a great vibe. Perfect for a night out with friends, family dinner, or even a date. Prices are fair for the quality , definitely worth it. Overall, if you’re looking for a place that does both teppanyaki and sushi right, Nami is a great choice. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone.

Came here for my birthday dinner. Their food and drinks are pretty good. Hibachi chicken and shrimp was seasoned and delicious. Reasonable prices would definitely be eating here again.

The chef prepares your dish in front of you with impressive dexterity. Very kind, humble. Very good and above all very plentiful and really for a reasonable price. I recommend for two or as a family.

I have never stepped into this establishment so I cannot rate the quality of the food or ambiance, however I called to make a reservation and spoke to the RUDEST person who literally yelled at me when I was telling him how many people we were. He didn't like that I said 4 adults and 2 children and yelled at me : " I don't care how many adults and children! Give me the total!" In the most aggressive way! I told him to forget it and that I would rather not go somewhere with someone that rude. So congratulations sir, you will never get our business and word of mouth is a powerful thing, what a shame. I suggest the owner re-train the people answering the phone. Such a disappointment.

I'm a frequent customer. They are like family to me. Cool staff, fresh food and great customer service. Food always the same.

Ordered for take out. The food was decent.. I usually like the rice until I found a hair. Immediately called the restaurant soon after only to be met with an abrasive manager. I made my complaint and was told that I cannot be trusted. He told me that my only option is to return the rice to get a new one.. How can I trust this establishment to not make the same problem? This place was good before but the quality has declined in food and service. I can only hope people read my negative experience and countless others on here that have left similar reviews before.
