Great local matcha cafe in a quiet area of Palo Alto! I’ve tried their matcha and hojicha lattes, and soft serve and enjoyed everything. I love the customisation with sweetness and shot levels for matcha (extra shot can be added free of charge!). They use Straus organic serve which is super creamy and has the perfect matcha flavor—rich yet natural with no artificial aftertaste. I also recently tried their matcha lemonade seltzer with no sugar added and it was a fantastic refreshing beverage on a hot day. I would definitely come back for their drinks and love the chill vibes.
Great little mom and pop shop. The owner is nice. We got the strawberry and mango matcha latte. Smooth, flavorful with the right amount of sweetness. Added extra shot of matcha with no extra charge. Definitely a hidden gem.
A new matcha shop is in it's soft opening in the area! And speaking of soft... The matcha soft serve was perfect here! No complaints: creamy, smooth, and sweet, with a clear matcha flavor. The Hojicha was my favorite! Smoky and perfect amount of milk to highlight the roasted tea flavors. I tried the hojicha lattes with the banana cream and creme brulee. Both options are so yummy. The Yuzu tea was very refreshing! A citrus contrast to other menu items. I loved it. However, the more I drank this, the more it became SWEET. You might want to ask for less sweetness if you order this! High quality ingredients! All of their matcha and hojicha is sourced directly from Japan. They also STRICTLY use Strauss Milk in all of their menu items! Though they are still is soft opening, the menu is simple. Expect a majority of the menu to be matcha and hojicha! I am excited to see how this little matcha cafe develops! A great addition to Palo Alto 🙂
This cafe is brand new!! Every matcha drink they sell is $7, which was interesting pricing because it didn't cost more to add boba. The drink was strong-ish but not strong enough I think, but I also like my matcha very strong. I would recommend it, but it's not absolutely insanely good. Their poke bowl is $15, and kind of rice heavy, but there's a good amount of toppings. The inside has a good amount of seating, and there's also a few big tables outside. There's lots of parking, but it is in a kind of odd location, not much nearby. The staff was very nice.
Really good! I got their plain milk tea and it has a great strong tea flavor, which I like (better flavor than most of the boba places I have been to). The interior is also pleasant with plenty of places to sit. I’d like to try their soft serve in the future.
⭐️⭐️⭐️=Standard (1-Avoid, 3-Standard, 5-Can't Miss!) New matcha spot in Palo Alto. They are still just soft opening right now so hopefully they will tighten up their menu and use better cups/lids. Got the cold foam banana cream matcha and hojicha latte. I was surprised by how well the banana cream paired with matcha and the sweetness levels they offered were in line with what you would expect. 50% sugar was not too sweet in just the right amount. Jury is still out on this place since it's so new, but recommendations would be to offer fewer menu items to decrease overhead, invest in better cups/lids because in the hand it doesn't exude the same quality and do justice to the caliber of the drinks offered. There is plenty of seating, which is nice, but parking is a little bit of a challenge since the attached lot is very small but you can find free street parking nearby.
it is new matcha place in Palo Alto. it is a bit challenge to find the place. you can park on the street and I think it also has parking lot around the building. It serve cold matcha, Hojicha , and matcha ice cream. The matcha is good. I tried Hojicha also but I prefer the matcha.
