The food was okay and nothing really stood out but the staff was super friendly. The restaurant had a great vibe and I loved the atmosphere. The risotto didn’t live up to expectations despite the positive reviews. It was one of the least flavorful risottos I’ve had at a restaurant. The fish taco was decent but the portion size was generous.

I was in the area for work for a couple months and this quickly became one of my favorite spots. It’s rare when I’m a regular at a restaurant during work because I like to try new places but I just tried different menu items from Horsefeather instead LOL Their holiday drinks were also very good. Definitely not a normal place to work but they were so accommodating and even let me plug my laptop in at the bar one day at lunch. Honestly love all the fusions!

Loco Moco was the best I've had. The gravy sauce on it was umami but also had a slight touch of sweet and sour (from the caramelized onion and maybe a tiny bit of vinegar?). It's different than traditional, but way better in my book. If you're very hungry, you can add a second patty for another $6 or $7. Chicken & Waffles were great too. Matcha butter sounds a bit much at first, but I'm glad we got it because it goes well with the crispy & fluffy waffles. Crispy banana/plantain + strawberry on the waffle was a nice touch too

Nice spot in busy towne and country plaza. Cool atmosphere and able to accommodate large parties. Restaurant is new so some kinks to work out. Food is good. Had the flank steak, very tasty with the red wine reduction. Miso linguini was also a hit. Roasted cauliflower was bland, large portion but need to revamp that recipe. All and all, would repeat. Staff friendly and helpful.

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday night at 6:30pm, grabbing a last minute open reservation. The hosts were friendly & seated us immediately. The tables have a large base, blocking the chairs from getting close, so we found ourselves having to lean in while eating. I ordered the hibiscus mezcal cocktail and it was delicious. We started with the Korean crispy wings and duck fat fries, the wings earning a special place in my heart. My main was the poke bowl, and it was good. My husband ordered the fried chicken and found himself scraping off most of the breading, which was a LOT. Not the best he’s had. Service was incredibly fast the entire night, which is typically appreciated but it did feel like we were being rushed. I recommend placing orders slowly, as a way to pace. It’s a new restaurant and I understand they may be moving quickly to receive and serve as many customers as possible. Overall okay experience. I will likely come back for the drinks & wings.

Tried this restaurant for the first time yesterday in Town & Country, Palo Alto. They've only been open for about a month. We went when they opened at 4pm and decided to sit at the bar. It wasn't busy at the time, but when we left it was crowded. The vibe is really nice. The three bartenders Ray, CK, and Alex were outstanding, and they made excellent cocktails. It was really fun to interact with them. For dinner, we shared the Duck Fat Fries. The fries were good, but we've had better. Maybe it's just our taste, so give them a try. We had the Prawns Tacos, and you get three. We also had the Risotto Alla Milanese. The tacos were really delicious! The Risotto was the best that I've had in a long time! We would definitely have these again, but we want to try other items next time. I would highly recommend trying Horsefeather in Palo Alto!!

The Horsefeather is a real treat in Palo Alto! First off, it is located in the Town and Country Village so parking is easy. The restaurant itself is well laid out and has great ambiance. Most importantly, the food is great. We had salads, burgers, and the Risotto Milanese....which is a must try! Also had some tasty cocktails. Highly recommend.
