Customer Reviews
Ramen House Shinchan has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 based on over 1488 reviews on Google
Loved this place. Everything was fairly priced and delicious. The chicken karaage was probably my favorite dish, so crispy and fresh. Really liked that they give you kewpie Mayo with it as well. We also got the curry ramen which was the perfect combination I wish I saw more. We also got the best condition ramen which had loads of flavor, but very heavy on veggies. I will be returning many more times. The Shoyu ramen was good but not my favorite, and the Tonkatsu ramen was better than the Shoyu but not as good as the curry ramen.
Made a trip out for a takeout order with two Katsu curries, a soft boiled egg, and gyoza that were eaten before we even got home. The gyoza were the perfect texture and very flavorful! The Katsu curry was homey and delicious. Even the egg was perfectly jammy. Overall well worth the drive. The woman who took my payment was very kind too. It’s a cute, little place with what looks to be handmade plates and cups in the front too. Order was $45 total
Nice little ramen shop in a strip mall. Good karaage chicken, my only wish was that the pieces were cut smaller. Pretty big variety of ramen. The spicy miso ramen was excellent. Perfect amount of spice and a good size portion. Boring decor but that’s not a big deal. Not the greatest service. It seemed like our server kept forgetting about us. I’ll still go back because the ramen was good. Give it a try.
Their Donkatsu and vegetable Ramen is the best! I think it was called Best Condition or something. If you like clean broth, you'll love it! Lots of veggies and perfect spicy level. It is now my go-to place for Japanese Ramen!
I honestly don’t have many complaints. Service was very good, we came closer to 8 pm so the restaurant was not packed. The server checked up on us often. We decided to go with a couple of the specials on the board. We ordered tako karaage, special tonkotsu ramen, and gomoku ramen. I decided to add in extra protein in mine (gomoku ramen). I added extra tamago and cha siu. Prices were reasonable for the portions we received. I also want to add that the hours on Yelp are wrong. They are only closed on Mondays. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the same time as the other days. -tako karaage 5 - deep fried octopus. I recommend trying this if you need a chance of pace from ordering gyoza, takoyaki, or karaage. The portion was just right and it had good size octopus. It had a nice crunch and I really liked the texture of the octopus. It wasn’t overcooked. -Gomoku ramen with extra protein 4.5 - tamago had a nice yellow-orangish hue yolk. Cha siu was easy to tear apart with your teeth and had good flavor. It was slightly dry. Ramen had a good amount of veggies. Noodles had some chew. Broth is similar to shoyu. Not too salty. There are also small pieces of pork.
LOVE, LOVE this place! They are always always BUSY! Probably due to their fairly priced, delicious food and amazing customer services!!! This place is amazing, especially their services! Even when they are busy their servers are very very attentive and caring! Just when you think all servers suck, lazy and slow…especially after covid, nope, not here! A lot of restaurant after covid, their bill will recommend you 18%/20%/25%, I went to a bell sushi place meaning they don’t even serve you but when the bill come they recommend you 20%/22%/25% BUT NOT HERE!! Their recommend tips is still 15%/18%/20% even when their level of services is 1000% better than everyone else! Love their miso ramen, boiled eggs, the bowl of heavy veggies come w/ your ramen
Absolutely phenomenal. Everyone here knows what they’re doing to a tee. Caring, attentive servers that care about treating you well and making sure your food gets to you as soon as possible. Most times I come here, I’m in and out within 30 minutes (ramen should be eaten as fast as possible in my opinion.) Everything I’ve had here over the past 5-6 years has been incredible but their tonkatsu ramen is so incredibly delicious and indulgent that I have to recommend it to anyone who is going for the first time. Friendly, caring staff that makes sure the customers come first. All time fav
