Dave's Hot Chicken

This place has been all over my social media for days, so I finally had to stop in.. and I’m so glad I did. Huge shoutout to Jaden at the Orem/University location! He helped me pick the perfect spice level and was genuinely so kind and helpful. His recommendations were spot-on… I literally ate every last crumb. Amazing food and even better service. I’ll definitely be back.11/10 experience.

Dave’s has a fun atmosphere, but the service is slow. The tenders are thick and tender chicken, not a greasy coating. The slider comes with sauce and pickles. The fries have a little Lawry’s like seasoning sprinkled on them. This place is definitely a place for "dudes" that like spicier chicken. 🐓🔥

Deeelicious. Medium hot #3 is a solid order. I've been here twice now and enjoyed it both times. Jaden (Jaiden? Jayden? Sorry about the spelling) was very friendly and nice to chat with. Good luck with the Riverton store!

It's certainly hot but loved that there's is a rating scale. Super clean bathrooms which we loved! Their pickles are great to for offseting the heat.

I usually love Dave's Hot Chicken but I ordered the Buffalo Ranch Mac & Cheese to go and when I opened it was just the fries and chicken with buffalo and ranch. No Mac & Cheese. Made me super disappointed because I was excited for my mac. I was already gone so I couldn't go and ask for them to fix it. But I will say I had an excellent server. Jamal was great, super helpful and very kind. Loved working with Jamal. Thanks Jamal, disappointed in the guy in the back that forgot the mac & cheese. Food is super tasty though.

I ordered two extra-hot tenders and they were just right. Too often, the spicy scale is tailored for Midwesterners (ranch being the spiciest) but these guys have it down. The service was slow as I waited nearly 20 minutes for the chicken to be prepared. My only complaint with the food are the tenders. Can’t a guy get some thigh?

Wow! Dave’s hot chicken surpassed my expectations! However, for the price I paid, I’d say they should charge a little less. I ordered two sliders with fries, one medium and one hot. Get a glass of water when you have the hot sandwich, because it gets super spicy!! Also, be sure to ask for extra Dave’s sauce because extra definitely is necessary for two sliders and fries. The food was served within 10 minutes, and utensils were provided. My favorite touch was the extra pickles, those were a nice refreshing little touch on the side and helped with the spiciness from the hot sandwich! Next time, I’ll probably ask for a few more pickles, a water, and eat it there instead of to-go, it’s hard to eat Dave’s hot chicken while in the car unless you’re not the driver. Overall, a 4.5/5 experience, with the pricing bringing down my pleasure a little bit, but the food still being tasty and worthwhile.
