Swami's Cafe Oceanside

It’s a counter-order and place a number on your table arrangement. The staff were friendly and they allowed us to bring our dogs inside with us out of the storm. Unfortunately they got my eggs wrong on the huevos rancheros - no big deal, it happens and not worth a fuss, unfortunately the food was on the bland side and seemed - well, bit "cold" but less than "fresh out of the kitchen" levels of hot. Nothing was bad, the produce all seemed fresh and there was a generous amount of avocado on top; but it was still underwhelming. It’s a great intro to the dish if you are sensitive to spicy food, but it left me wanting.

Nice breakfast spot near the beach. They have watermelon juice (my son's obsessed) so that was a win! The eggs benedict is my go too, was good (could have a bit more flavor, bread was a little hard to cut). Blueberry pancake was BOMB and huge (son gave it 2 thumbs up!) & my mom's turkey burger, I heard was on point!!

This is such a cozy weekend go-to for us. 🌞 They’ve got something for everyone, mimosa flights for me, a giant chocolate chip pancake for my kiddo, and lighter options when I’m trying to behave. The corned beef hash is a fave, and I usually stick to the Benedict because it never lets me down (the beef special I tried was a little chewy). It does get busy in the mornings, and you order at the counter with self-serve drinks, but that’s part of the charm. Swami’s is definitely staying in our regular rotation.

Missed dinner the night before so we came into Swami’s ready to eat. This is not the place to order food for the first time with wreckless abandon. There is a reason why you can order one pancake. I couldn’t even finish mine and it was delicious. The special pumpkin walnut pancakes are a must. The fruit was fresh. Fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. The food can get costly too if you order a ton so be careful. Great spot for breakfast!

We got breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. The pancakes were way more than I could finish and I enjoyed eating them the next day too. Thank you for having great gf kids' options too.

Ulysses was exceptional! He was very attentive and friendly..even to our pups. The food and price point were pretty great. There was a lot of flavor and the portions were on point. If you're a vegetarian in oceanside look no further. Definitely want to co.e back and try all the other items on the menu.

It was the best! Such good quality! Everything was delicious, the person who took us order was very nice and helpful. I recommend iced honey lavender, it was yummy and their steak was delicious 🤌 Definitely come back
