Don's Country Kitchen

Stopped by before my exercise at beach (10k walk), and ate breakfast. I had the SR3 (old folks menu..😊). Shhhhh, I just retired. I ordered over-medium eggs (made perfectly), crispy bacon (made perfectly), and a slice of Sourdough bread (made perfectly). The home style potatoes were good. I want to say my only criticism was that there was an flavor in my eggs that I did not recognize...I am not saying it was bad, just odd. Now, just so you know, I always use the red and green hot sauce and a few drops of Tapatio sauce. It is possible that one of these three might have been the culprit, or the grill....where the eggs are made. Anyhoo, I will be back...the servers were nice, and attentive to me and others...always with a smile. 😁

Major yum!! I noticed they had a black bean scramble as a special, so I asked if they could tuck that into a breakfast burrito, and it was a delicious start to the day! My husband got the half breakfast and it was the perfect amount. Our early Saturday morning waitress was so fun - you can tell everyone there is so sweet and laid back. 10/10 would recommend! Life is indeed good at Don’s!

Dons Country Kitchen has some of the best breakfast in town. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the food is always fresh and delicious. You really cannot go wrong starting your day here and it is definitely our go to spot.

What a great place. We loved it. The food is AMAZING!!!! Biscuits and gray are so yuummm. Shrimp omelet was super good. The Salsa has so much flavor. You won't regret any choice. Oh let's not forget pet friendly, so many cute puppers have breakfast. 😄 Thank you to the staff. Everyone is so nice and serve was quick.

Drove up to Oceanside specifically for this breakfast and we were all happy that we did so. The flavors are great, the portions are large, and the prices are fair. Parking can be a bit tricky because they have a very small parking lot attached in front but only for about four or five cars. Otherwise it will be free street parking. We arrived around 10AM for Saturday brunch and had to wait about 25 minutes to be seated for a party of three. We felt the wait was worth it though. The food items arrived quickly after we ordered and our waitress was very polite. Inside is pretty large and they have indoor and outdoor seating options. For my first visit, I chose my favorite breakfast dish, which is Eggs Benedict and decided to order their Chorizo Benedict. It honestly had some great flavors and was almost spicy but in the perfect way. I really enjoyed it and ate every bit of it and would highly recommend it. I already want to come back and try some more dishes and would definitely consider this one of the better breakfast options in Oceanside.

Incredible experience! The food was bursting with authentic local flavor—everything was absolutely delicious and came in generous portions. The service was top-notch: friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere? Relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

Perfection! From our greeting from Daniel through the meal, everything was done brilliantly! We did have a 25 minute wait and it was well worth it. The biscuit and gravy was one of the best I've ever had. Fresh made and tender. Fluffy. Gravy is lick-the-plate delicious! Ordered a half portion eggs Benedict (love this option). Smokey Canadian bacon, perfectly cooked egg and hollandaise sauce is as good as home made. And hash browns were crispy. Peach waffle - yes please! Such a treat. Go. Enjoy. 100% would go back!
