Very glad to see this place open! The Korean fried chicken is absolutely amazing especially the soy garlic and honey crunch flavors, definitely our favorite Korean chicken out of all the places we've tried in New Haven. The tteokbokki and tofu soup were also very good. I hope this place sticks around for a long time!

Restaurant change from BonChon to Mama shim. This place still has the best fried chicken in America. However I believe the best bite in the city, are the bulgogi tacos. I always have to order extra chicken just to take it home for leftovers. Please note the coleslaw is the best coleslaw you ever eat in your life!

New restaurant, service was on the slow side even though it wasn't very busy when we visited, just be aware. Other than that the food was fantastic! The wings were darn near perfect. Chrispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. The BOA buns were amazing, we had the pork and bulgogi. The chicken katsu was great and the Kalbi was perfect! I highly recommend this place, very much worth a visit!

Even better than Bonchon! Chicken is still amazing, tacos are to die for, soy garlic or honey crunch anything is the way to go! Owners are so friendly and the staff is fantastic, also restaurant was redecorated beautifully.

Awesome food and service!! I had the Pink Flamingo cocktail - good stuff!! Chicken Katsu is some of the best I've had. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff.

Delicious! They have an expanded menu compared to Bon Chon, and the hot wings were spicier and cooked perfectly.

Personally, I found the chicken drumsticks to be overdone and slightly tough but everything else (the wings, boneless and bone-in and fried rice, cole slaw) were great.
