It’s amazing, worth the pretty penny, They have a great Sunday brunch, their plates are huge, very fresh, the drinks, AMAZING. Mj and Joe were fantastic and very informative. One of the owners also came to talk to us and was very sweet. Perfect for dates, celebrations and even a girls day. Definitely recommend for the RGV.

We had an amazing date night. The sushi was fresh and there was a finishing touch and it had its own delicious taste to it. The sushi chef was very passionate about his craft and took the time to explain the making of each sushi roll and made recommendations. The truffle Mac and cheese was just perfectly seasoned, creamy cheesy and just delicious. The Long Island was refreshing, balanced, and expertly crafted. Huge shoutout to our server Mr. Brown that made our first experience here amazing, he was very attentive, knowledgeable welcoming and made our night even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Valeria was absolutely Amazing! She answered every question, gave us great recommendations, and was very well informed about their menu both meal and drinks. She smoked an amazing old fashioned, we called her a professional smoker 😉. She made sure we had clean plates and utensils with each meal and was absolutely joyful. Highly recommend Moon for a night out.

It was such an amazing experience, being inside felt like fine dining and you immediately get transported somewhere else! Edgar the server was super attentive and great with the details from explaining the menu to offering extra help with anything we needed. The chef coming to say hi to us was an experience to be remembered, from making us smile with his surprise under his hat to telling us the story of how the restaurant came to be, it really felt like his intention wasn’t just to have a restaurant but to make you feel at home. Best restaurant in the valley!

The dinner, atmosphere, and service were absolutely outstanding! I'm all about great service, and Mathew Brown exceeded my expectations—he did not disappoint.Perfect date spot, very aesthetically pleasing!

Stopped by to have brunch for my friends birthday and Mr. Matthew Brown provided us with the most amazing service. He was attentive and very patient with us since it was our first time visiting. He even offered to take us a group picture. Serving size are large and delicious! I recommend the Sangira and Mimi’s chicken and waffles.

Damn, where to begin, I would have to say I came here not knowing what this was, and I left entertained and hopong to come back for more. To say what used to be here was one of my favorite places to relax, Whistling Duck and it will be missed, and yet I welcome Moon Mixology after enjoying my time here can't wait to be back. First of all, this place looks amazing inside. Don't be fooled by the exterior as it is in a corner of a plaza a bit hidden. As you can see, everything in here in terms of decoration, has something related to the moon theme from the small light sconces in the shape of mini moons, to the moons on every opposing wall just looks amazing. We arrived early and asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, but they said they take 50% reservations and 50% walkins, so do not be discouraged when you forget. Seated quickly, servers friendly and courteous. To start, we ordered their version of mexican street corn, Korean Cream Corn, and by that, I mean it has a korean inspired flavoring as well, which was quite savory. I ordered a Ribeye Prime steak, which had a smokey bbq taste, but not like American bbq. I mean, like a tex-mex backyard homecooked deliciousness but just on a whole nother different level than home grilled. Even my wife, who doesn't particularly enjoy eating red meat, had a bite, and she said, "f that's good." I also got their brussel sprouts, as a side plate came with a small grilled onion and as per before also tasted from a bbq pit with that distinct buttrry soft onion flavoring. Wifey ordered the Lamchop Lollipops, and she took her sweet time with those so much so that she didn't want to finish them and run out of it. She also ordered drinks, but I don't drink, and I can't say how delicious they are other than how awesome they look. Lastly we ordered cake to go but we didn't check it till we got home and we were given the wrong slice of cake, nonetheless the cake that we did get was tres leches and it was pretty awesome. Overall, it can get pricey, but that's what you're paying for when you come here. You basically know you're getting your moneys worth for the night out. If you live anywhere in the valley, come check this hidden gem out in the quiet corner of Mission, recommend it 10/10.
