Bonchon Midlothian

Not sure what happened to this place. The strips used to have tender meat with a crunchy outside. And they were reasonably sized. These literally look like and have the texture of beef jerky. I can understand now why so many of the local Bonchons are failing if this is the quality of food.

OH MY GOODNESS. The best chicken strips I've ever eating, and I eat chicken strips at least 3 times a week, I'm a connoisseur. It was so fresh and crunchy, and the ratio of sauce and meat was incredible. I have no idea why this place was so empty on a Sunday afternoon. People get yourselves to Bonchon you will not be disappointed. The food is so appealing that a Doordasher picked up an order, then came back to order food for themselves.

Very good service especially the manager today (Dec19/7:07pm). We had to wait for sauce for my Bibimbap and food got cold but the manager took care us for having to wait. We would highly recommend eating here. The food is amazing!

I really wanted to share a picture but I ate it too fast lol EVERYTIME I eat this for lunch... I DO NOT WANT IT TO END. It's honestly a struggle to not go back and get some more but I gotta stay disciplined. My favorite is the MIXED combo for lunch $12.99 with Soy Garlic and Yangnyeom with some white rice. The owner Nettie and staff were very helpful and I'm looking forward to catering this for my staff at work! They're gonna love ittt. Does not miss!

The wings and fried rice are so good!! The wings are always extra crunchy & their choice of sauces are good…the spicy is Extremelyyyy spicy, but we still order them! Tried the mango margarita while waiting for my pickup order & unfortunately they were out of a lot of things at the bar so instead had a peach margarita w/ tequila but it was soo good. The staff was very nice and made sure everything was comparable to the out of stock items.

Great place, I don't think there are any other options for Korean style fried chicken in Richmond, if you want a new, fresh take on chicken, this is it. Takeout portions were slightly smaller than what I'm used to with your typical Chinese takeout places, although maybe that's bevause they use these standard reusable containers which are nice, but I feel like limit your food amount. Wings were fantastic as usual, no substitute for them.

I've never been so disappointed. I’ve ordered from this location before and occasionally the food was subpar but this time was completely different. The food was just plain nasty. I ordered tteokbokki and usually there’s some missing rice cakes and it’s mostly sauce, but this time, the sauce was just plain watery. It had practically no rice or fish cakes and it tasted foul. Like it tasted the way I imagine dirty dish water would taste. It was so bad I just had to pour it all out and couldn’t stomach it at all. There was only a minuscule amount of fries, which were also soggy and cold. The only upside was the chicken and it was just okay, everything else just soured my experience.
