We were placed at a table that got knocked into about 12 times during our dining experience. We made a reservation ahead of time and I feel that the space was way too tight. Our server did his best but seemed overworked. The food was good but not what we expected being our first time. I think execution needs to be worked on for flavor. Also, don’t put people at a table that has no room for walking in front of it. One time the table was hit so hard if we had drinks they would have flipped on us for sure. How would you like that? The best dish by far was the red snapper. It mirrored a dish I’ve had previously at Blue Heaven in Key West. Flavor profile for dishes should be better executed. First and last time dining with this establishment.

Not worth the money. For the price point, you expect an elevated experience–Komodo delivers the opposite. Service was cold. No eye contact, no warm greeting–just a group of hostesses standing around with their cleavage hanging out, asking if we had a reservation. Every staff interaction felt rushed and transactional, usually answered with one-word responses. The only thing they seemed focused on was constantly clearing the table. The food was subpar at best. The hamachi roll was shockingly low quality–I’ve never seen yellowtail mashed into a paste like that. The so-called Wagyu skirt steak was tough, poorly seasoned, and nothing about it justified the Wagyu label. The duck, which they’re supposedly known for, was fine but not memorable and certainly not better than what we’ve had elsewhere. The space itself feels tired and overly bright, lacking ambiance and attention to detail. Stained napkins, worn finishes, and a bathroom experience that felt closer to a gas station than a high-end Restaurant rounded out the experience!

Komodo in Miami delivered an unforgettable anniversary dinner from start to finish. From the moment you walk in—past the iconic hanging ducks—the atmosphere, decor, and energy set the tone for something special. The service was polished and attentive, and the drinks were excellent throughout the night. We ordered the Peking duck, hamachi jalapeño, lobster dynamite, king crab lo mein, wagyu dumplings, chocolate cake, and mochi—everything was outstanding. The duck was phenomenal and absolutely lived up to the hype, while the hamachi was incredibly fresh. Our favorite dish of the night (besides the duck) was the wagyu dumplings—rich, perfectly cooked, and unforgettable. An amazing experience all around and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back.

10/10 impressed! Everything was exceptional during our visit. We made a reservation for our anniversary and couple weeks in advance. It was well worth the splurge. The waitstaff was so kind and attentive but not overbearing. The chicken kaarage appetizer was fantastic! 🤤 The nigiri tuna was so fresh and flavorful. The duck lettuce wraps, chefs kiss. 🤌🏻 My partner said the old fashioned was one of the best. Smart casual dress code, don't forget!

Amazing experience at Komodo Miami!!! Food was so good and service was top notch, thanks to our server Blake! She was super sweet, attentive and personable which made our time there even better. We got the lobster dynamite, Wagyu Beef Dumplings, Spicy Beef Filet, and Korean Fried Chicken. Easily highlight of the meal was the Spicy Beef Filet. Highly recommend.

Dining at Komodo feels less like a simple night out and more like stepping into a high-energy, ultra-luxurious experience. From the moment you walk in, the space hits you—dim, moody lighting, dramatic architecture, lush greenery, and a buzz that feels equal parts exclusive and electric. It’s the kind of place where every detail feels intentional, from the music to the plating. The food? Unreal. When the Peking duck hit the table, someone literally said, "Okay… this is next-level." Perfectly crisp skin, tender meat, and those classic accompaniments done flawlessly. Its rich, indulgent, and absolutely worth the hype. Then came the wagyu tacos, and the reaction was instant: "Why are these this good?" The beef melts in your mouth, balanced with bold flavors that somehow feel refined and playful at the same time. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the duck fried rice arrived. One bite and the table went quiet before someone finally said, "Yeah… this is dangerous." Deep, savoury flavour, perfectly cooked rice, and generous pieces of duck. it’s comfort food elevated to a luxury level. What really sets Komodo apart is how the food, service, and atmosphere all work together. It’s not just dinner, it’s a full sensory experience. Energetic yet intimate, upscale without feeling stiff, and memorable in a way that keeps you talking about it long after you leave. Komodo isn’t just a restaurant, it’s an experience and this is why it’ll always be a must visit in Miami

Food is decent but nothing compared to most if not all Asian or steakhouses with similar sides. Music is a good variety and noise level is medium. Korean fried chicken - double fried but the inside didn’t seem as juicy as a Korean fried restaurant joint Brussel sprouts- if you expect crispy like other steak restaurants this is not your side dish, very soggy in a way and flavor profile is basic as expected Wagyu fried rice - Wagyu tasted like sirloin tips, you can opt out for a cheaper option of vegetable fried rice and possibly get the same satisfaction Lobster dynamite - not sure how this is a popular app here, lack of lobster taste; you can mostly taste the crispy rice Duck lettuce wraps - do not expect any crispy parts of the duck when ordering this dish, it will be the inside of the duck , and for this reason I would not order it again Overall 3/5 in terms of food, but our server Mina was excellent and consistently checked at the right times to make sure our dining experience was amazing , would give her above 5/5 for her service
