If you ever visit Memphis, TN and love Asian cuisine, this is the place to be. We eat here every time. Food is always delicious. Portion is good. Price is fair. We have always been treated with kindness and helpful suggestion. The owner is super nice too.

We hired this restaurant to cater our wedding for 350 guests, and everything was perfect!!! 😍 The food was delicious, the service was fast, and the prices were very reasonable. They offered such a great variety of options that everyone found something they loved. Communication was clear and smooth from start to finish. Kobe and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran seamlessly. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for catering for a large wedding or event — they’re simply the best! ❤️ We can’t thank Kobe and his team enough 🥰

I was very impressed by the huge restaurant, nice authentic experience! The dim sum menu options and portions are perfect! There's pictures on the menu so you know exactly what you're ordering- super helpful! Nice quiet friendly atmosphere with plenty to look at. Food is fresh and served quickly. On Saturdays it gets crowded quick but the food is served on carts for you to choose from so many choices!

In the past, I've had wonderful experiences at Dim Sum King. I've even had my birthday dinner there for several years. The food has always been great. However, this time, I couldn't even get them to take a food order from me. My 8 year old son and I were sat, our drink order taken and then no one ever came back to take our order. We ended up leaving and spoke to the manager, who did not care at all. I would like to point out that they made me pay for my son's $3 sprite. Very disappointing. We ended up going to New Asia in Germantown instead and had better food and service.

I was highly impressed with my first visit. The ambience is so cultural and inviting. The customer service was excellent. Staff catered to the needs of our group, without us having to ask. Food was amazing 👏! I enjoyed everything that 😋 was brought out. I enjoyed watching the big screens that displayed menu items and what the restaurant has to offer ( if having events catered etc.) I highly recommend this wonderful place for a quiet dinner 🍽 alone, with family, friends, or any event. 10 thumbs 👍 🌟 🤩! Top tier quality for sure! I am looking forward to visiting sooner than later!

Good dim sum in Memphis area. Dim sum carts that get wheeled around from table to table happens on Saturday and Sunday. I did mine takeout and I was able to choose from those carts. Updated 07/07/2025 We go here periodically primarily for Dim Sum. It's the go to place for that type of food in my opinion On weekends they serve the dim sum using steamed push carts. On Fridays you can order most of the dim sum items off the menu. On weekdays I suspect they do the same but a not sure since don't go there for it on week days. Most of the standard food ( har gaw, sui mei, cheung fun, sticky rice, baos , etc) items are very good and reasonably priced for this area. Expect to overall spend around $20-25 per person. The ambience on weekends is noisy and busy especially Sundays. The eatery is filled with plenty of Asians in weekends as families gather. Update: 11/29/2025 We enjoy the dim sum here and come frequently when family is in town. Prices are about average for this type of cuisine and the quality is pretty good especially here in this area. And compared to other cities with similar Asian food, overall this dim sum here can hold its own. Other towns may places that have other items not offered here. The service is good enough but can be spotty at times. The noise level is moderate since large groups come on the weekends. The dim sum is served using push carts on Saturdays and Sundays. On the rest of the week dim sum is available for limited items and by direct order. Update 12/28/2025 Went there with family in town on a Sunday afternoon. Place was quite busy as expected on a Sunday afternoon and especially on a holiday weekend. There was about 16 of us so we were seated in the "karaoke" room which has a gigantic lazy Susan that self rotates. Food overall was good as typical. Although the "wu kwok" (taro root fried ball" did not taste freshly made but more like from the freezer. The waitress was very good. The wait for the table was over 30 minutes as they had to get the room ready although it was not previously used that day.

Used to love this place and the food. However, I went with my 8 year old today and it was awful. They got us drinks and then never came back. We waited 20 minutes before we gave up and left. The management could have cared less. Very disappointing. We ended up getting dim sum at New Asia instead. Go see Janet. Better food and service.
