Yanagi Kitchen Long Beach

Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth nigiri that instantly makes your day better. The miso soup warms the soul, the rolls are always balanced, and everything tastes fresh and carefully made. This is my favorite spot in the city — Yanagi is the definition of reliable comfort food: clean, consistent, and always satisfying.

This is a decent spot to order Sushi for takeout. They got some good and reasonable combos to chose from. Please note that if you order online you will be charged a small fee. I called them to order which was free.

Great spot for quick sushi to go! Everything is fresh, staff are friendly, and food is great! There is no seating inside but they also have an app if you want to order without talking to anyone. Love how convenient this is!

The sign’s been up for a bit at this spot so I’m glad they finally opened their doors! They only offer takeout/delivery, so plan accordingly. We went in as walk-in for takeout and was satisfied with the fast service, but will place an online order next time. Sushi was tasty, fresh and high quality. Really liked the no-frills ordering system and simple but efficient packaging. A great addition to the Long Beach area.

This is my favorite sushi restaurant. The packaging is so neat that it makes me happy. The salmon sushi special here is really delicious. I love salmon, and I enjoy being able to eat all the sushi and rolls made with it.

1st time ordering here. I normally don’t order rolls b/c I don’t tolerate all that Mayo, different sauces and fake Kray. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll which was the shrimp, avocado, and cucumber 🥒. LOVED IT! 5 ⭐️ The nigiri 🍣 was sooooo fresh, every piece melted like butter in my mouth even after refrigerating some pieces for later (I ordered too much & had to break up the meal) 5 ⭐️

Ate here several times while my mother in rehab. So nice to get good, fresh food. Poke bowls very tasty. Staff great. Note : take out only, no tables.
