Flame Broiler

I had a great experience at Flame Broiler! The restaurant was spotless and well-maintained, with a clean, welcoming atmosphere. The staff provided excellent customer service — friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed. The food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. It’s always nice to find a place that consistently delivers both quality food and a great dining experience. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to!

(01/25/2024) Always good food, clean spaces, good service and a pleasant atmosphere. Plenty of parking (including handicap parking) and most of all clean and well stocked restrooms.

Great place for healthy food. They have tofu and brown rice.

They charged $2.20 for half of an avocado and they don’t care about the quality. This avocado is browned and hard! Really dry!

This Flame Broiler is one of the worst that I've been to, and I've been to most of them in Southern Cali. From as far North in Bakersfield to as far South in San Diego. My favorite location is the one in Torrance where they make your food hot and fresh to order. This location? They measure your food on a scale?! No other location does this. Also, they don't like serving full portions. I ordered 3 Works (or half & half) bowls with extra green onion on 2. Been ordering like this for almost 10 years! My server scoops the smallest amount of rice, then scoops ONE spoon of meat, shakes the meat back into the meat container and tries to divide the half spoon of meat between the 3 bowls. She also did the same thing with the veggies which is not how it's supposed to be served. When I brought it to her attention she asked if I wanted extra meat. No, I just wanted the servings that go in the bowl. Then she goes to dip the steak and does the same thing. I ask her why she's not serving a regular portion, she offers to give me extra meat. Again she scoops then half empties the spoon to divide the meat. Will somebody tell me why I received barely 2 half spoons of meat that were divided by 3 bowls? When the owner/manager walks up, he does NOTHING. I had to ask 3 times for green onion and only got it on 1 bowl. Small divided up portions but you keep increasing the price. Now, when the manager serves you, it's the regular portion but anytime his staff serve, they have broken wrist syndrome. Just why?! Ugh... 😩😒

So yummy!! I really enjoyed my meal. I got a half and half howl with salad and it was delicious. Probably will be one of my favorite places now. I definitely want to try the tofu salad next! The sauce was really good too! Stop by if your in the area!

I came here last night for to go dinner. I got the mini with chicken then the regular and a plate with chicken and beef. Service was quick and friendly. After putting in the rice and veggies, they put it on a scale as they add the protein: either 3, 5 or 7 ounces based on size you order. I paid $26 to feed the 3 of us without any drinks which was reasonable. The food was decent. My favorite was probably the rice. It definitely needed the magic sauce which they gave us plenty of. The chicken had some weird pieces in it and the beef was a little tough. Would I drive to Lancaster for it again? Probably not. It wasn’t bad food but it wasn’t great either. My husband agreed. My 8 year old liked it though and she’s kinda picky.
