International House of Prayer - IHOPKC

Can’t stop won’t stop raving about IHOPKC!!! The place has a special, anointed Holy Spirit Filled atmosphere. I have made only two trips here but plan to come back again and again. I frequently watch their livestream on Youtube. My first time here I spent 10 consecutive days in the Prayer Room and have a special fondness for this place. Praise God for this ministry and the people that make it so special. I’m thankful to God for the people that prayed for me and the friends I made while I was here, and the talented musicians that dedicate their lives to the Lord in this way! It’s truly a special place and I wish more people knew about it!!!!!

One of my favorite places on earth. The years of cultivating a sustained, corporate atmosphere of prayer here have been nothing short of glorious. While there have certainly been seasons where leadership could have grown or improved, I truly believe this ministry’s global contribution far outweighs any shortcomings. The fruit speaks for itself. Jesus is worthy of a place of unceasing worship and prayer, and that devotion is deeply evident here. I love the freedom of this place. I love the perseverance of this place. I love the prayer, prophecy, and healing testimonies that have come from people all over the world who have encountered God here for decades. The picture below was taken after a powerful night spent with fellow believers in this house of prayer, where prophecy and intercession were poured out over my wife and me. We left refreshed, strengthened, and deeply marked by the presence of God. Even though I no longer live in the area, I am deeply honored to be part of this family and to carry what God has done here into the rest of the world.

The presence of God is clear on this place. The praise and worship went on for 24/7. You can just go to the main room and pray as the music plays, the presence of God is very strong and comforting on this place. There is no judgment as you don’t interact to anyone in here - you can just go in and pray on the main room. You can come and leave as you please, though you must follow the etiquettes of the prayer room. The music is excellent as they really brings the presence of God. If you have questions, they have friendly people outside that can answer your questions and they may pray for you as well. The place is clean, the restroom is clean, and the parking is excellent.

It has been and still is a wonderful place to spend time with God in prayer, in praise and just soaking up the peace of God, Holy Spirit. Also, meditate and reflect, while listening to the beautiful music and holy singing . As the scripture says, just "Be Still and Know I Am, (He is), God."🙌🙌

Home away from home! I love the harp and bowl sets, sitting in the prayer room and writing. I have many friends there. Not there as much as I used to, and miss being in the global prayer room.

I moved way from kansas , and I have never forgotten this place. I wish every state had a place like this clearly the presence of God is here. My prayer is to one day open such a place in different states. This is so much needed.

So I went here back in the day from July 1, 2010 to November 13, 2012. I had a really good time learning about the Bible, The End Times , Mike Bickle, Davy Flowers, Stuart Greaves, Cory Asbury, Matt Gilman, Allen Hood, Wes Hall, David Sliker, Shelley Hundley and lots more of their superb teachings on prayer and devotion to a Christian value system. I have since become a practicing Roman Catholic but I highly recommend this place as a good starting place to encounter The Lord.
