Kọ Cafe (Ko Cafe)

Such a gem of a neighborhood coffee shop! Cozy, welcoming, and full of good vibes. The food is flavorful with a delicious African twist, and the coffee menu is outstanding — the iced Caribbean and lavender coffees are a must-try! The décor is fabulous and makes the whole place feel special. Can’t recommend it enough — this will definitely be my new neighborhood spot! And the staff is super friendly and welcoming.

I’ve came here a few times. There is one very sweet barista girl working there. The drink is always fabulous, but the management/ownership is non existent. The poor girl works by herself, homeless men come in and harass her, if more than 2 people come in to the store , she is overwhelmed. On top of that I passed by today , at 9 am and they were closed. The owners need to either come down and start doing some work themselves or they will be losing their business Also , what kind of cafe is closed on Sundays?

I had the privilege of hosting my 30th birthday celebration at Ko Café and was thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and hospitality of the owners and staff. From the initial planning stages, the owners were gracious, responsive, and eager to collaborate. They offered thoughtful suggestions on how to best utilize the space and even provided recommendations for local caterers and photographers, which greatly enhanced the overall experience. They were highly accommodating, allowing early access for setup and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day of the event. The café itself is beautifully designed- spacious, unique, and inviting- providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable celebration. I would enthusiastically recommend Ko Café for any private event and look forward to hosting future gatherings there.

I ordered an iced matcha latte, but it had so much milk that I could barely taste the matcha. It ended up tasting more like plain milk with just a hint of matcha, which was a bit disappointing since I was hoping for a stronger flavor. Aside from that, the place itself is great and the staff is very nice.

Such nice vibe and the staff is very friendly. Got their iced matcha with oat milk and it was really good. I love the African print inspiration and art. They have good WiFi and sitting ranging from bar seats to tables to sofas. Perfect for coworking. You can also book the space for podcasts, shoots etc.

Best cafe in jersey city. The food is great. the staff is top notch and the owner’s care about people. They’ll take the time to know you and what you care about. ask you how they can help. This place is a gem.

The cafe is bright and colorful with good music. The man working, Asani, was very nice and patiently answered my questions and gave recommendations. Then he chatted with me as he made the drinks and food. The prices are very affordable and what I got was DELICIOUS. I will absolutely be coming back.
