I recently visited Jaws, and it was such a flavorful experience. The rice cakes were perfectly chewy, and the sauce had the right balance of spice and sweetness. I recently tried their rose topokki, and it was amazing! The rice cakes were perfectly cooked, and the creamy sauce had just the right amount of spice—not too overwhelming but still flavorful. I also had the jajang topokki, which was a delicious twist with its rich black bean sauce. For sides, I couldn’t resist the fried shrimp kimbap and their fried goods (size large), which were super crispy and satisfying. The Korean sausage was a nice savory addition as well. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for a quick and tasty meal!

This place truly delivers an authentic taste of Korea! The Topokki reminded me of Jaws Topokki from my time in Korea—the texture of the rice cakes was spot on, and the sauce had the perfect kick of spice with just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered the set menu, and it was fantastic. It included a variety of delicious sides that balanced the meal beautifully. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Jaws Topokki is my absolute favorite go-to topokki spot! Every bite is just so satisfying. The place is always clean, and the staff are super friendly. I think I've tried almost everything on the menu, and I've loved every dish. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Korean flavors!

Absolute class act from the owner Richard - you’ve got a customer for life. Ordered through Doordash and the dasher didn’t pick up all of our order. We ordered the Duo Set and 2 gimbap. We were missing our gimbap. When I called the store, I explained how we were feeling sick and wouldn’t be able to pick up the order. The owner of Jaws, Richard, LITERALLY personally delivered the missing part of the order himself. He even gave us some Korean beverages on the house to help feel better. Unbelievably kind and generous. The food is phenomenal. Spicy and sweet where you want it all of the right places. The seasoning of the fried food dips perfectly in the tteokbokki. the gimbap is the ultimate comfort gimbap. Everything you could ever want from comfort food. This is the kind of small business we want to be supporting. This is my forever go to spot for tteokbokki. THANK YOU RICHARD!!!
