Awakening

Stumbled in here before a concert for some quick caffeine and a croissant sandwich. The turkey croissant sandwich was the best out of the two we got including the Italian. The cappuccino was excellent and the vibes of this place were definitely there. If I brought my laptop here to work it would be so perfect wish they had this where I live. There were a lot of cool people there, overall a neat vibe.

Had the best work & session at Awakening last Thursday 1/8. I loved the matcha hibiscus cloud latte (literally still thinking about it, I can’t wait to have another), and I love the huge space. We went late at night and it was a little chilly. Be sure to dress warm if you come in the evening during the winter. I’ll be back soon 😊

Had a great time at Awakening. It's a great atmosphere for creatives anyone who wants a great place to work and vibe out. I was not expecting the coffee to be sooo good since most cafes are similar to me but the Oatmilk Cinnamon latte was incredible. I give it 5 stars overall! Can't wait to go back!

Came here for the first time at 6am because thank God they open before that. It’s like a German nightclub to slap you in the face before you know what day it is. The ordering system can use some customization, but the process is easy. The sitting lounge is amazing! I didn’t get to use it but I’ll be back. The (owner?) Bertram was bringing A+ energy and pride. And the drink was literally perfect. Spice and oats and 4 shots of espresso, tailor made to be a warm hug in my stomach. Well done all around.

Absolute vibe of a location. Food and coffee are not only delicious but VERY fast, amongst the fastest coffee experiences I've had short of a tall black. Staff is polite, the work and seating area is excellent with lots of seating options and outlets. We will absolutely be back.

Awakening is hands down my favorite coffee shop in LA. I come here all the time to work and I’ve actually shipped and published several projects from right inside this space. The vibe is perfect for getting things done. Lots of seating, great WiFi, and a fun energy that makes it easy to focus. The team here is amazing. Jamie Bert and Surayyh always make me feel welcome and cared for ❤️ They remember people and really make the place feel like a community. My go to is always the Espresso Yuzu Tonic ☕🍊 It’s refreshing and bold at the same time and honestly I crave it every week. If you need a spot to work relax or just enjoy a one of a kind drink this is the place. Awakening is special and I feel lucky to have found it.

Just moved to the area and was so happy to find this gem! They had an amazing selection of drinks! I ended up going with the maple oat latte (which was delicious), but I’m definitely coming back to try their famous Heavenly Cloud Latte next time. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially since it was my first visit. They made great recommendations and really made me feel welcome. Also, there's a HUGE area in the back that's perfect for getting work done or to have a meeting. Such a cute spot with great coffee!!! Can’t wait to go back!
