The food is amazing and so is Maria. I'm not from around here but visiting the area and needed a bite to eat since I was Uber to Huntington Park I didn't have my car so I had to walk to get to a place of business. I went on Google to find food near me and this place popped up. It has a 4.8 score and so I said Why not? When I came up I thought it was close but then I smelled the aroma from the door and proceeded to walk in and I'm glad I did. The food is fresh and the place is clean. Maria reminds me of one of my aunts she is sweet but doesn't play. Next time I'm around here I will be coming back

Lovely and friendly service. The teriyaki chiken plate is a must try but be aware of the green spicy sauce that comes along! It is very spicy🥵. Very affordable and delicious meal to have for lunch. The natural blended juices are great too! Dont miss out and forever regret this opportunity!(⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐)

Four generations of my family have had the honor of enjoying Maria’s delicious beef teriyaki and amazing green salsa! She always has the crispiest lettuce for her side salad. Her natural juices are incredible. And she’s got the sweetest oranges. Our parents discovered her place in the 80’s…and we’ve been addicted to her cooking ever since!!! I absolutely guarantee that you’ll love it too. She’s has pictures of some of us on her wall….which btw is a treat to see whenever we visit. She runs the entire place herself. She’s a very hard working woman and her honesty is what I love most. Maria will most definitely match your energy so if you want great food, fair prices and good service…you’ll find it here. Maria is the best. Always on point with the flavor of food and doesn't skimp out on portion. The wait is never too long and she does everything on her own. Big prompts to her on keeping the business going. My favorite thing here is the chicken teriyaki plate .

the place said open, However; there was only an older lady cleaning up the food prep area, and when we opened the door she seems rattled and we asked are you open for business? she answered with something we couldn't hear or understand, so we left thinking maybe she wasn't ready to serve customers. the place was empty at 12:30pm mid afternoon.

I've been going to Maria'a since I was a kid. My parents, when they arrived to the US from Mexico would go there and so did my aunts and uncles and cousins. Now I take my kids to eat there. The restaurant has always been the same with great quality food and great service. Maria's restaurant is a gem in the community and will hopefully be there for many more generations. Don't sleep on this place, give it a try.

Maria is the best! Have been going all my life. My parents have gone back when they were dating. Best beef Teriyaki in the world. We always drive 4 hrs almost each month to come over!
