Kitakata Ramen Ban Nai - Hoffman Estates

Kitakata is the best ramen place in the Chicagoland area. Their green chili shio ramen has such a clean and delicious broth. Their pan fried gyoza is one of the best dishes on the menu. It has the perfect fry every time! Right now they have the Mizore ramen running through the end of March and that one was also super refreshing and delicious. This place is always busy so I recommend joining the waitlist on Yelp ahead of time. This place is a 45min drive from me, but I frequent it as much as possible. I highly recommend this spot to everyone.

We came in on a busy Friday evening and the place was absolutely packed — people were cramming in to get a table! We waited about 52 minutes to be seated, but it was totally worth it. (Tip: you can get in line ahead of time through the Yelp app — we’ll do that next time.) We ordered two Spicy Miso Ramen bowls with extra egg and corn, plus the pan-fried gyoza. Everything was fantastic — the broth was rich and flavorful with just the right level of spice, the veggies were fresh, and the pork was tender and tasty. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive, checking in often and keeping things running smoothly even though it was packed. The total came to about $56 before tip, which felt fair for the quality and portions. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic, flavorful ramen and great service! 🍜

Went there for very first time. Kids loved their pork. Very well cooked. Few veg options. Really good service.

Food was delish! Had the Tonkotsu Ramen and the gyoza! My friend also liked her dish (forgot what it was), and the servuce was great and friendly! Only thing I didn't like was the bigger booth that has 4 tables all together, the tables were too close to each other and it's uncomfortable just having your butt just casually pass right next to the other table's food, but other than that it was great!

The best ramen! Their noodles are something else! I’ve tried so many other places, but none of them come close. I’ll keep coming back here — and only here! The staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is amazing. Love it!

Amazing experience all around! Love the simple, authentic atmosphere reminiscent of ramen shops in Japan. Ramen was delicious and indeed generous in portions. The highlight for us was definitely the chicken karaage! Crispy, juicy, and HUGE pieces.

Fantastic as always!!! The best ramen best in town. I never get disappointed with this place!! Food is always same quality and service also great!! I love spicy miso ramen and you can order spicy on the side if you aren’t a big fan of spicy. This place you much try!!!
