Mochi Machi

They have the best mochi donuts ever!! Every mochi donut I’ve ever tasted has a sickeningly sweet icing on top, unless I get a plain one with just powdered sugar. They do have that "beignet" style donut as well which was delicious. The donut quality themselves had a perfect light and chewy texture and are made of 100% rice flour for the GLUTEN-FREE folks out there. I was hesitant about getting the flavored glazed style ones, but I did since it was buy 3 get 1 free. I’m so glad I did too! I got dark chocolate hersheys and peanut butter, and they ended up being my favorite ones. Not too sweet at all and the chocolate was delicious and melty and not cold hard icing like other places. The Korean fried chicken is the best in this city too! The soy garlic flavor was perfectly balanced, the chicken was juicy and crispy, and the fries with the cheese powder on top were super good and crispy as well!! The lady behind the counter was so friendly! I have nothing but good things to say about this place! I hope more people find out about Mochi Machi to keep them in business!

The most sweetest woman took our order! We love supporting small, local business. We also got soy garlic wings and fries it was sooo good and crispy. Taro boba was creamy and the boba was soft to chew. Mochi donuts good as well. We will be back again and again.

Super cute little mochi donut shop/cafe. First time trying the strawberry donut and it was delicious. The donut was freshly made in two minutes. Crispy, warm, and very flavorful. Will be back to try the Korean dogs next!!

My hubby and I spotted this place after eating down the strip. The mochi donuts are awesome! The texture is perfect and they’re not overloading-ly sweet!🥰 100% recommend!

The Korean Corndogs are awesome! Half mozzarella cheese and half hotdog on the inside coated with a range of items like Blue Takis, potato or Hot Cheetos. The donuts are delicious! Various variety depending on the day of the week but never disappointed. Very clean and hospitable place. Worth the trip to Harahan from just about anywhere near New Orleans!

I have a gluten allergy and was very excited to try this place. My mom, husband, and I got several donuts and they’re the best we’ve ever had. The lady at the counter, possibly the owner, was so sweet!

A fantastic new spot in the neighborhood! The donuts are delicious. We tried the strawberry, churro, pistachio, beignet, and glazed. We also got the mango sorbet which was perfectly scrumptious. And the chicken tenders and fries were super tasty. 10/10 will be back again!
