Such a wholesome local bakery, so glad we have some Hawaiian representation nearby! Everything tastes so fresh, clean, pure, and delicious!! This bakery worked with us for a gender reveal and carefully crafted the perfect malasadas for the occasion. They usually don’t use anything artificial but made the exception given our permission and the occasion. They even gave us some extra filling for touch ups if needed. They took great care of us! Our guests loved it, too! We tried a few other goodies like the passion fruit poppy seed and winter luau stew pastry (vegetarian too, which is hard to find!). Definitely going back. Ample parking. No seating but no problem - everything is ready to be to go!
I came across this business on TikTok and to my surprise they were located right in my neighborhood! I decided to come check out this business and I was blown away! Upon entering you are greeted with a display of delicious treats, packaged snacks and drinks. The customer service was top tier, I was welcomed in right away and was also walked through every item and flavor. The owners were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. Now the star of the show, malasadas!! Delicious, soft, flavorful. 100/10 experienced & highly recommend. Will be back with friends next time!!
My wife and I stopped in here yesterday after finding out they had guava flavored items (guava is one of our favorite flavors). We got an assortment of items and everything tasted amazing! From the flavors to the texture to the perfect amount of sweetness. Every bite was an experience. The woman who helped us was so sweet and very helpful. You guys snagged a customer for life. Thank you so much, and you guys are doing awesome!
If you're missing home or want a taste of what Hawaii is like... 🌺10/10 my Husband and I recommend🌺 Just opening the door you get smacked with a mouth watering smell where it immediately makes your tummy rumble. The owners are very welcoming, sweet people! They have special seasonal flavors along with their different variety of items AND THEIR YUMMY HAND MADE STICKY MOCHI CRUNCH!! (Next time we will be buying more than one bag as the one we got was so finger-licking good it only made it about 1/3rd of the way home.) My Husband was born and raised in Hawaii and whenever he feels the heavy homesick, this always our #1 go-to spot! Most definitely worth the 1hour drive! He says they are so perfectly deliciously made with love like back home, that they remind him of when he was a kid!! Which says a lot as my Husband is very picky when it comes to anything Hawaiian based. We always get the boxes of different filled Malasadas as well as the original (no filling), in hopes some of them will make it home to enjoy but they're so palatable only a few remain when we walk through our front door.. Big Thank You for bringing a touch of back home to the main land for everyone else and the home sicks to come by!! You guys are amazing!
I’ve been craving for malasadas since I moved here in Washington. I miss the flaky buttery goodness of Leonard’s. The kind of malasadas that melts in your mouth and the sugar coated heavenly bun that smells as good as taking that first bite. I came across O and Ko from Google map and got so excited I felt like a kid again! I was counting the days where I would have it stuffed in my mouth and roll my eyes to the back of my head excitement…. Well, that have to say, I am disappointed. My first bite, I knew it was just a doughnut. My heart sank and I got homesick. If you’ve ever been to Hawaii and saw Leonard’s malasadas truck, the first thing you’ll notice is the line that forms in any good given days. You know that awesome goodness that just sends you in ecstasy. When you know, you know. The butter mochi that O and Ko have is delicious! I will definitely come back for that one and I’m willing to try everything else that they have. Just not the malasadas.
What is good find!! I tried their Haupia and Almond Malasada and they were absolutely delicious. Fluffy bread with delicious custard and a sugary coating. What's not to like? Can't wait to go back and try more flavors. Worth the 30 min from Portland!
I ordered the mixed filled mini-sada box for a party i was going to. These were the highlight of the party .🥳 Everyone loved these! The Guava cheesecake filled ones were my favorite simply amazing! I will definitely be back for more!
