Gj Mart

Prices have gotten out of control since the other Asian store on North Avenue closed. Vegetables that were $2.99 per pound are $8+ per pound. Soup mixes that were $1.49 a month ago are $2.49 now. Many prices for staple ingredients have more than doubled in the past two months. Orchard Mesa Market is across town, but the prices are so much better that it is now worth the drive. GJ Mart used to be competitive with prices similar or better, but that has changed in the past two months. At this point, buying online from Amazon is cheaper.

Good variety but overcharge. I paid 6.50 for 1lb9oz of bokchoy, 2.50 for one single small bundle of green onions, and 3.00 for one sweet potato. All packaged items can be found cheaper at Walmart or Amazon. I would only go here for things you cannot find elsewhere

This place is amazing. Had everything I needed for my lunch while I was camping in town! A must visit if you're looking for quality Asian food. The staff there was also very nice. I will definitely be back next time I'm back in the area!

The place is great! There's a nice selection of products, and although a lot of it is in different languages, all you need to do is ask the shopkeeper about it, or pull out Google Translate (I keep the webpage on my phone's home screen as an app.) The instant kombucha is very good, along with the desert selections. I also like the frozen pork buns and so much more! Lots of different items with flavor/food combinations you wouldn't see in a normal store. I mean... ice cream with beans!

Omg! They had fresh sesame balls that tasted just like the ones in San Francisco. They have a great selection of ramen, snacks and drinks. I found my new go to place in town. It’s like a mini HMart in the Western Slope. I can’t wait for the fresh veggies and red bean paste sesame balls. You have a shopper for life here!

The gentlemen at the register is very knowledgeable and willing to help answer questions. The store has so much stuff! This is our new favorite Asian store. We have been to them all in Grand Junction, and this one tops them all.
