Gen Korean BBQ – All-You-Can-Eat Bliss with Tabletop Grilling! This place is a carnivore’s dream! You grill your own meats right at the table, and every bite is hot, juicy, and packed with flavor. The bulgogi was to die for. It was tender, perfectly marinated, and so addictive I kept going back for more (until I literally felt like I was going to pop!). Our server Robert was wonderful. He was super attentive, quick with refills, and full of great recommendations. He made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere is modern, fun, and open, with big bright windows that let in tons of natural light. It feels lively but not overwhelming. Bonus: there’s a parking garage right there, so getting in and out is a breeze. If you love Korean BBQ and interactive dining, Gen is a must-visit. Bring your appetite – you’ll need it! 🔥🥩🍴

Pros: Gen Korean BBQ House is a solid spot for good quality food. The meat was fresh and delicious, and the staff was great about changing out the grill grates whenever we asked. The restaurant was also very clean and had a nice atmosphere. For all you can eat at $31/ person for the dinner menu, you really can’t go wrong. Minor cons: 1. Appetizers (side dishes like kimchi) should be served automatically without having to ask. This is the first Korean BBQ spot that has asked me if I would like the side dishes served. Just bring em, don’t ask. Everyone wants it. 2. The digital menu is a bit confusing when you scan the QR code. The first half of the page is all boba options, which had me questioning if I was even looking at the right menu. It would be much better to have the Korean BBQ section at the top since that's what people are there for, with the boba options at the bottom. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'm still giving them a 5/5.

First time coming and probably my last. Came here with a group of friends and it was packed. We waited for a bit, got seated and got to ordering. They start you off with a rice bowl, some sauces and condiments. I liked the ambiance but the waiter and servers were definitely overwhelmed because they would take a while to get to our table so we could order more food. We also ordered some drinks and they took forever to bring them out. We had to remind them like 2 or 3 times before we finally got them. And to top it off my drink was supposed to have alcohol but I couldn't taste it at all. My friend also ordered an alcoholic drink and you could definitely tell it had alcohol in it. So that was disappointing. We had to waive them down on numerous occasions so they could change our grill because it was smoking for way too long and it was hitting me right in the face. I'll be smelling like meat for like a week! You'd think they would change it out as soon as they see that it's blackened but we had to tell them. Also, my friend had to go up to the front desk on 2 or 3 occasions to ask for things we had ordered a while back. The quantity of the meat they would bring was ridiculous. It seemed enough for only 2 or 3 people but we had to divide between 5 adults and 1 child. Also, like 1 or 2 plates of meat that they brought over had a weird taste to them and we collectively decided that we weren't going to eat it. I've been to 1 other Korean BBQ and it was way better than this spot because they also had a salad bar. IDK if I'll come back here but you never know. Things can change but for now I wouldn't recommend it.

We ordered the Korean fried chicken, an appetizer thats supposed to be cooked and fried in the kitchen, only to find the chicken was completely raw. We let the server know, and they came back apologizing, informing us that management didn't want to do anything. Got food poisoning the next day. Our server was very apologetic, unfortunately management seems to not care.

OK so the food was good but the wait was 50 minutes. Had to use the bathroom while waiting and 2 off the stalls were not working. The trash was to the rim and on the floor. The waiter was very nice and helpful but was spread thin because the place was so busy, too many people and not enough servers. Our orders were coming slow and when we asked for something the same. Even to pay the bill, he took about 10 to 15 minutes that I had step outside to sit outside since I was getting anxiety. So yes server was doing his best under the circumstances but for paying customers that's still not acceptable. Manager should have more people working so that doesn't happen. Our bill wasn't cheap either. That was our first time there so not a good first impression.

My brother wanted to check this place out and I’ve been to this Brand in Alhambra and it was excellent. This spot is also good overall. My brother and I chose the premium option which came to $55-60 per person all you can eat. We’re both big consumers of fine kbbq and the selection was excellent along with the quality. We did quite a few rounds also. The flavors were there and tons of options to choose from. Customer service was great and the location is big & it wasn’t crowded on a Saturday evening. I’d definitely come back again and try their other menu items. Parking is paid structure and no validation unless you get local theatre to validate.

If you want to eat your fill, it’s better to go to a buffet. Here you’ll be getting small portions every half hour and spending a long time cooking them. I don’t recommend it.
