Coming here the food was served quick and fresh. The seasoning was excellent. If you like Sichuan bbq and spicy. We got beef , vegetables , potato skewers. Also fried rice was good. There was a separate bowl if you wanted to add more spice to your food. Highly recommend if craving bbq Chinese style.

Hidden gem alert!!! Obsessed with this casual BBQ spot! Every skewer is grilled to smoky perfection, and tender beef, crispy grilled veggies, even the lotus root is addictive. Friendly service, cozy vibe, zero complaints. 10/10 recommend!

Overall: delicious food, value menu, small portions, and distracting environment Food was delicious, we love the spicy flavors. Offered all the typical meats but I love that they have value menu (buy 3 get 1 free) Best items: lamb, combo fried rice, vermicelli clam, chives, beef However the portions are smaller compared to other Chinese bbq/skewers places we’ve been to before (maybe due to inflation) It was a bit distracting and annoying sitting next to the TV with the owner’s son watching TikTok/shorts videos and scrolling through it. Went on for maybe 15 minutes until they changed the programming for the TV

Highly recommend beef skewers and stir fried noodle - these are the best in the Bay Area!! I personally like BBQ pork feet as well (they are big LOL). The service is also good and warm-hearted.

With three people, $100 barely made a dent—it's incredibly cost-effective! 😂 Must-try dishes include the tender Grilled Lamb, flavorful Grilled Chicken Gizzards, and surprisingly delightful Grilled Squid and Squid Tentacles. The Garlic Vermicelli Scallops and Foil-Wrapped Duck Blood Vermicelli offer incredible value, with generous portions and perfect flavors. The Grilled Mushrooms are more flavorful than meat, and the Steamed Buns triumph over bread with their divine texture. Every dish, from Pork Intestines to Quail Eggs, is a hit! The owner's hospitality is heartwarming, with complimentary treats like Sour Spare Ribs and Cold Tossed Dragon Whiskers. We even took the spare ribs home for dinner—it was a lifesaver! 😋 Lastly, despite being full, my kid devoured the Ham Fried Noodles in no time! 😂 At MUTANKE, it's not just a meal—it's an unforgettable culinary journey!
