Extremely friendly staff. Manager came by to check on us to make sure everything was okay. Food delicious! Chicken wings had a slight crisp and Amazing light sauce! Best I ever had! Pork fries appetizer was absolutely delicious! Amazing brisket, melted in our mouths. Amazing smoke ham. Coleslaw, although good, is not creamy finely chopped type. It's a pricey experience, but when the food this amazing, so worth it. However, the pricing is in line with other smoke house food establishments and this one, by far, is the best we've experienced! We will return!

Visited on a Sunday night before they close and the quality of the food was still delicious. We had the Beef Brisket and Burnt Ends alongside the Mofo sandwich. The good was good enough that we ordered some for the next day! Strongly recommend.

Coming from VA, and living in PA now, we were searching for a great BBQ restaurant and coming to MD, at Black Hog, we found one! The Saturday platter is worth every bit of the price. My wife and I both had this selection, and had some left to take home for later as well. The banana pudding desert is also great! You need to offer a larger portion option. The waitress was good and took care of us and the hospitality of the employees was great also. Heads-up they do have a parking lot for us customers, the entrance is on the side. We'll be back for more of that BBQ!

Walked in and was met with the aroma of mouth watering bbq. We were greeted quickly and ordered platters. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The atmosphere is very chill and the music is good and not too loud to disrupt your conversations. Also everything is very clean! Definitely worth making a trip from Hagerstown. Our server was Debs and she was very nice and explained the menu items to us!

Better than I was anticipating. If smokey is not your thing, then this place isn't for you because smokey is the ONLY flavor there is. Brisket needs seasoning. Just salt and pepper would be better than nothing. Fresh cut fries are always nice, and the house made Mac n cheese was pretty decent. They had a few good sauces, too. Overall, It'll work in a pinch. Maybe the other meats are better.

Black Hog BBQ is great!! Beef Rib was seasoned and flavorful. Loaded fries was hot and delicious along with their sides of potato salad and mac and cheese. I did have the brisket which was too dry for my liking. I prefer more of a moist brisket but it was fine. Definitely recommend Black Hog for BBQ.

Awesome food (high quality meat and all the sides, plus LARGE portions) & well made, reasonably priced drinks. All the staff were very friendly and helpful from the instant that we parked our car. Can’t wait to check out their rooftop bar in the warmer weather!
