Samba Steak & Sushi

We sat at the bar and service was great. The food was very good. The sushi is fresh and they are willing to modify the selections. However, the atmosphere is in need of a deep cleaning all around, a lot is visibly tired, and the restrooms are neglected from routine cleaning. The smoke from the hibachi tables makes the air quality poor. They really need better air ventilation.

Reserved a spot for the hibachi at noon for a friend's birthday on a Saturday. The place was basically empty except for the employees and it was wonderful. It was our first time there and they did not disappoint. The teriyaki chicken was delicious and our Chef was talented and friendly. Thanks everyone at Samba for a great experience!

Samba Steak & Sushi provided a fantastic dinner experience during our visit. The staff was attentive, checking on us frequently, and the food was delicious. We came on a quieter Wednesday night for sushi, but the hibachi stations were lively and full. Our experience was entirely positive, and we didn’t encounter any of the issues mentioned in negative reviews. It’s a great spot for both sushi lovers and those seeking an interactive hibachi meal.

Four of us came here on Christmas Day around 1pm and the service was amazing. Our server was so sweet and fastidious. The food was great- yes a bit overpriced for sure- but what really blew me away were the receipts taped to the door. These receipts were previously purchased food that never got picked up- and the restaurant was offering to make those meals for free for people! I’ve never seen this in my life and found it unbelievably touching. Will definitely go back for 50% off sushi nights. Thank you Samba!!

The menu has a mix of sushi and steak options, which is its main draw. Sushi rolls are fresh and flavorful, though some specialty rolls can be hit or miss depending on preparation. The steak dishes are cooked well and portion sizes are generous, though a few items feel overpriced for what’s served. Drinks are decent, with cocktails and sake complementing the meal nicely.

We went for Hibachi. The food was good but the " show " is not as good as other teppanyaki places we have been. The room lacks ventilation and it gets quite warm. It’s also a big space so loud… and the light is really dimmed… feels stuffy.

Update: they charge $1 for a tiny amount of sauce. That is ridiculous. We ordered take out for my birthday. The portion size is good. It’s pretty pricy though (we paid about $70 for 2 people). I eat here frequently and it’s usually pretty good however this time I was disappointed to find hair in my food. It was in both our meals. We both found it in the vegetables but after seeing the hair we lost our appetites and threw the food away after only a few bites. This is the second time this has happened to me recently.
