My favorite KBBQ spot in Virginia! ChoSun Hwaro offers amazing meat quality and Korean dishes at an amazing price! The service here is stellar, and both the wait staff and the owner were so pleasant to talk to. I came here for dinner one evening and we got their ChoSun combo package with four different meats for 4 people, as well as their bibim naengmyeon, corn cheese, beef tartare, and dolsot bibimbap. Everything was amazing quality and so so delicious. The meats were juicy and well-marinated. The portions were great and the combo came with doenjang jjigae and steamed egg (which were both delicious—I loved how they added cheese to the steamed egg). The corn cheese was the perfect sweetness and the beef tartare was also another favorite. Would love to come back!

Service was excellent! Our server was quick, professional, and very friendly honestly one of the best servers I’ve ever had. After we ordered, he came over and started grilling the meat for us right at the table. He was like a grill master, cooking everything with precision and cutting each piece into perfect bite-sized portions. The pork belly and steak came out with a beautiful crust and amazing flavor. The side dishes were also spot on kimchi had the right level of spice and everything tasted fresh. The food was excellent overall, but what really made the experience 10/10 was the server. Truly outstanding service that elevated the whole meal. Highly recommend this place for both food and experience!

Absolutely unforgettable Korean BBQ experience — upscale, welcoming, and worth every visit! Chosun Hwaro in Fairfax is hands-down one of the best upscale Korean BBQ spots in Northern Virginia. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elegant and high-end—the interior honestly reminds me of a Korean version of Capital Grill: classy, warm lighting, beautiful décor, and a polished vibe that makes it perfect for date night, celebrations, or hosting out-of-town guests. The food quality is always top-tier, but I have to highlight the Prime Boneless Short Rib—it was unreal. The marbling was gorgeous, the cuts were thick and tender, and once it hit the grill it was buttery, juicy, and packed with rich flavor. You can immediately tell they use premium meat and the freshest ingredients, because every bite tastes clean, high-quality, and perfectly prepared. The banchan (side dishes) were delicious and well-balanced too, and everything came out hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. What truly makes Chosun Hwaro stand out though is the service. The staff is attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. They made us feel so special, especially since we were celebrating—little thoughtful touches that turned dinner into a memorable experience. Had dinner at Chosun Hwaro in Fairfax and absolutely loved it! The Baekdusan Bulgogi was not only delicious but beautifully presented — tender beef with just the right amount of seasoning and a perfect hint of smoky flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Great food, great service, and great vibes — definitely five stars!

This used to be my favorite Korean BBQ spot in the area, but this time I was really disappointed. The meat was either undercooked or burnt. They only offer one type of sauce, and if you don’t like it, you probably won’t enjoy the meat because it’s completely unseasoned. What was most unacceptable was the service. The server dropped the tongs on the table after using them to handle our meat, which felt very unhygienic and unprofession

Burnt and raw, the bland barbecue. There are so many better spots in Fairfax at this price, but don’t pick this dump. It tastes awful, the service sucks, and it gave me diarrhea. I paid $120 not for eat these terrible 3 plates of grilled meat.
